About a week away.  Will the Lord further quicken our spirits with regards to His plans for the Church?!

I'm counting on it!

Can you provide a little more detail to your comment on this thread, TR?  I am not following your timing logic.  Thanks.

Someone else had derivations on DR. Awe's calculations, highlighting the new moon coming up..

As such, the 21st, the 24th and the 31st featured prominently!

This has been the problem with figuring when is the first day of the fifth month.  If you google new moon July 2020, you get July 20, Chabad has the first day as the 22, and Dr. B has it as the 24th.

IMHO,  I can't see Pentecost being in late July.  That doesn't make sense to me.  Mind you,  what do I know? :mail:

The 9th of Av,  however, on the 31st is very interesting.  High watch day for me.

My interest in determining the first day of the fifth month is Steve Monette's pattern he found of the temple foundation being started in the fourth month.  If there is still a chance that Trump's plan can be implemented this month, then possibly part of the plan includes a temple plan go ahead and that might fulfill this pattern.....and implementation of any of the plan would anger those to the north...and we are out of here by the first day of the fifth month.

Better we are looking at days rather than years!

I won't quibble!

hi Blue, all these darn calendars.   I wondered about the "fifth month" this morning because of passages in the OT about the fifth month.

there is another calendar that counts the  "new moon" as the full moon, saying when God first made the moon and it gave light in the night, it was full, not dark on the first day it was made. some of what I read on the site isn't something I can agree with, but the idea of God starting the first day of the moon as full, giving light in the night, I wonder if that was the way it really was. According to this calendar, the first day of the 5th month is Aug 4, full moon being the night of Aug 3.

If the "new" moon was dark on the first day God made it, then it wouldn't have given light shining out in the dark of night. it would have taken a couple weeks until full light  from the moon in the night after God made it - Gen 1:14-19

https://www.thecreatorscalendar.com/spring-2020-2021/

Genesis 1:14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. 16 And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. 17 And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.

about the 4th month, we would still be in the 4th month until sundown of Aug 3, and then the full moon of 5th month comes up.

Hmm.  I might have to resort to Tammie's advise of going to bed expecting the trumpet, and getting up expecting the trumpet.
