Woke CEOs mocked conservatives. Now the joke’s on them.

[Opinion]

From Bud Light to Victoria’s Secret, boardrooms that sneered at the right are learning just how expensive arrogance can be.

Corporate America is bending to conservatives’ market influence. Not out of sudden ideological sympathy, but because conservatives have more economic power than the left — and they’ve stopped pretending not to notice.

For years, corporations ignored conservative concerns... The squeaky wheel got the grease, and the left made all the noise.

Conservatives, meanwhile, were taken for granted. Corporate leaders assumed they would keep buying no matter how many insults were thrown their way. For a long time, they were right.

That ended when conservatives started fighting back. Bud Light’s Dylan Mulvaney stunt turned into a disaster. Victoria’s Secret collapsed under its “new image” campaign. Cracker Barrel’s woke makeover backfired so badly its chairs stopped rocking.

Corporations aren’t embracing conservatives because they’ve had a change of heart. They’re doing it because they need to survive.

Conservatives overwhelmingly vote Republican. Ninety percent cast ballots for Trump. Pew data shows a majority of middle- and upper-middle-income Americans lean Republican — and 51% of Americans identify as middle class. That’s a lot of disposable income.

So why did corporations bow to the left for so long? Two reasons. First, executives themselves lean left. ...Second, conservatives tolerated it.

That illusion is gone. Conservative consumers are awake. And companies are finally capitulating to reality.

Markets speak louder than regulators. If conservatives let economics do the work, corporations will continue adjusting out of necessity. Free markets punish bad bets more effectively than Washington. Let them.

@patrician And it's a different time and generation.  Gussie Busch would never have tolerated such nonsense.  Not from the beer company and not from the Cardinals.

Illegal Alien HIRED as Superintendent’s Criminal Records Just RELEASED!

In 2023, the Des Moines School Board appointed Ian Andre Roberts as Superintendent of Schools, granting him one of the most lucrative contracts in Iowa public education.

His base salary began at $270,000. In a state where teachers routinely earn less than $50,000, that figure alone should have drawn scrutiny.

But what makes this case far more disturbing is not the salary, but the man who received it. Roberts was an illegal immigrant with a criminal record that stretched back decades.

The Department of Homeland Security has now released the full timeline of Roberts’ immigration and criminal history.

Roberts first entered the United States in 1994 on a tourist visa. By 1996, he was arrested in New York for narcotics possession with intent to sell, forgery, and possession of a forged instrument.

Two years later, he was charged in Queens for unauthorized use of a vehicle. None of this prevented him from reentering the country multiple times on student visas, filing for work permits, and applying repeatedly for permanent residency.

Yet Roberts remained, moving through the system while adding new offenses to his record. In 2012, he was convicted in Maryland for reckless driving.

In 2020, he faced weapons charges in New York. In 2022, he was convicted in Pennsylvania for unlawful possession of a loaded firearm.

Then, in September 2025, he was arrested in Des Moines with a Glock 9mm, a hunting knife, and $3,000 in cash. He has since been charged as an illegal alien in possession of firearms.

How could such a man be entrusted with the education of more than 30,000 Iowa students?

The answer lies with the Des Moines School Board. Either they failed to perform basic due diligence, or they knew and deliberately looked the other way.

Iowa families deserve leaders who follow the law, not officials who break it.

Japan Welcomes First Female Prime Minister — a Former Heavy Metal Drummer Touted as Staunch Conservative:

Japan has welcomed its first female prime minister in the country’s history.

Sanae Takaichi, 64,  defeated her centrist opponent Shinjiro Koizumi, in a runoff election at the Liberal Democratic Party headquarters in Tokyo and will now lead the Japanese government.

She is described as a protege of late former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and has served in multiple government roles, including security minister.

Takaichi also cites Margaret Thatcher as her political inspiration.
“I’m feeling how tough it’s going to be from here on, rather than feeling happy,” Takaichi said after her victory.
Among Takaichi’s most important tasks will be building a relationship with President Trump, after the U.S. tariffs were among the factors that helped bring down the previous government.

Despite being among the world’s most powerful countries, Japan faces a multitude of challenges including a massive budget deficit, inflation and an alarmingly low birth rate.

Democrat mayor says he has 'no desire' to jail repeat criminals — he wants to know their 'life story' instead:

His progressive opponent pushed back, but with more liberal policies.

The Democratic mayor of Seattle, Washington, made an astounding claim about his policies related to repeat criminal offenders during a debate against his progressive challenger for the mayor's office.

Mayor Bruce Harrell was asked by a reporter whether Seattle was too lax on repeat offenders given that the city had the fourth-highest crime rate among major cities, according to FBI statistics.

"So when this person is committing six or seven crimes, I don't know his or her story. Maybe they were abused as a child; maybe they're hungry. So my remedy is to find their life story to see how we could help first. I have no desire to put them in jail," he added.

Hundreds Saved, Baptized as 8,000 Students Attend Christian Revival at University of Tennessee:

More than 8,000 college students gathered on Tuesday at the University of Tennessee to worship Jesus Christ at a UniteUS campus event, the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) reported

UniteUS is an evangelistic Christian organization that does outreach toward Generation Z and presents the Gospel on college campuses across the country. Their most recent stop was at the Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. The ministry reported that 500 students affirmed that they repented and accepted Jesus’s free gift of salvation, and many were baptized in a public display of faith outside of the arena.
