Will this be when they say peace and safety? From Craig Bong's FB:
COMING THIS SEPTEMBER - SETTING THE STAGE FOR GLOBAL GOVERNANCE
The United Nations will meet in September for the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, as well as the highly-anticipated "Summit of the Future" on September 22-23, wherein nations will agree and sign the so-called "Pact for the Future". The Pact is expected to call for declaring a "planetary emergency".
The Summit of the Future is a so-called, once-in-a-generation opportunity to enhance cooperation on critical challenges and address gaps in global governance, reaffirm existing commitments including to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the United Nations Charter.
The initial draft, released in late January 2024, proposes overhauling existing institutions—including those governing international PEACE AND SECURITY, GLOBAL FINANCE and development, and NEW DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES—as well as measures to safeguard the rights of youth and future generations.
AREAS OF POTENTIAL ACTION
Member States will ultimately decide the outcome of the Summit of the Future, but the Secretary-General has outlined an ambitious agenda for their consideration. These are further elaborated in the Secretary-General’s Our Common Agenda Policy Briefs.
1. Account for the future: practical steps to take account of the long-term impact of our decisions, fulfilling a long-standing commitment Member States have made to future generations;
2. Better respond to GLOBAL SHOCKS: put in place a stronger international response playbook for complex global shocks, maximizing the use of the Secretary-General’s convening power in the form of an Emergency Platform;
3. Meaningfully include young people: systematically include young people in global decision-making;
4. Measure human progress more effectively: agree on metrics beyond GDP so that decisions on debt relief, concessional funding, and international cooperation take account of vulnerability, well-being, sustainability, and other vital measures of progress.
5. Agree on a vision of digital technology as a motor for human progress that can deliver full benefits while minimizing potential harm;
6. Commit to integrity in public information: achieve an information ecosystem (notably online) that is inclusive and safe for all, perhaps via a code of conduct;
7. Reform the international financial architecture: to ensure it delivers more effectively and fairly for everyone and particularly the Global South, including through objectives that are aligned with the SDGs, debt sustainability, a global financial safety net, and more;
8. Advance the peaceful and sustainable use of outer space: update norms governing the use of and behaviour in space so that it is peaceful, secure and sustainable for the benefit of all;
9. Agree a new agenda for peace: update our understanding of all forms and domains of threats and adapt our toolbox to prevent and manage hostilities on land, at sea, in space, and in cyberspace;
10. Transform education: achieve a fundamental shift in how education is seen and treated including in relation to the purpose of education; the learning environment; the teaching profession; harnessing digital transformation; investing in education; and multilateral support for quality education for all.
11. UN 2.0: adapt basic UN practices on data, communications, innovation, strategic foresight, performance and results, and more, so it is better positioned to support all the above and face the challenges of tomorrow.
The result will be a world – and an international system – that is supposedly better prepared to manage the challenges we face now and in the future, for the sake of all humanity and for future generations.
There has always been a desire for world domination, all throughout human history. That is not a conspiracy theory, but a basic historic fact. This diabolical desire is as much alive today, as it has ever been. It's important to know who the tyrants are in our time, and what their current strategy is and how it is unfolding before our eyes.
THE PACT FOR THE FUTURE
The UN says the aim of the Summit for the Future is to "accelerate efforts to meet our existing international commitments" and "take concrete steps to respond to emerging challenges and opportunities". With these goals in mind, the UN is planning to negotiate and endorse an "action-oriented outcome document" known as the Pact for the Future. The document is already being discussed at UN meetings, with final negotiations and signing of the agreement to take place in September at the Summit.
In January, Germany and Namibia, co-facilitators of the Summit, announced the release of the "zero draft" of the Pact for the Future. The proposals mostly repeat what is found in the UN 75th anniversary document, and the Our Common Agenda report. The document makes it clear that the member states "re-affirm the importance of the multilateral system" with the UN at the center. The zero-draft also reiterates the UN's 75th anniversary declaration to "leave no one behind".
"We will act with urgency to realize the vision of the 2030 Agenda, including through the agreements contained in this Pact, a surge in financing for the Sustainable Development Goals, and additional steps to ensure sustainable financing in line with our commitments under the Addis Ababa Action Agenda of the Third International Conference on Financing for Development," the draft of the Pact for the Future reads.
In terms of "reinvigorating the multilateral system", the draft says the UN will "commit to a vision of a multilateral system" that is "inclusive to allow for a diverse range of actors beyond States". This statement appears to be a reference to the belief that individual nation-states are no longer capable of tackling international crises, and, thus, the world must adapt to new forms of governance.
The zero-draft also mentions the need for an "Emergency Platform" that would be activated in the event of "such a shock that has an impact on multiple regions of the world" and, according to the UN, requires a "coherent, coordinated and multidimensional response".
The draft also claims that any Emergency Platform would "not be a standing institution or body". The UN also claims the "decision to convene an Emergency Platform" would "fully respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of States".
The discussion of an emergency platform plays right into calls for the declaration of a planetary emergency.
It is what comes at the back end of this action, the coming promise of rapture and with it a day of destruction, the simultaneous confirming of the covenant, and the Great Reset for global governance beginning in 2025 that will indeed shock the world.
The UN has declared: “2025 – International Year of Peace and Trust".
“We do not need another committee. We have too many already. What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the allegiance of all people, and to lift us out of the economic morass into which we are sinking. Send us such a man and be he god or devil, we will receive him.”—Paul Henri Spaak, the first president of the UN General Assembly, first president of the European Parliament, and onetime secretary general of NATO.
In the meantime, and until the end of the year, keep watching to see what unfolds. The world is preparing a pact to meet their king, a judgment of sorts, the Rider on the White Horse, The Antichrist.
because for the past 10 years of lurking over Sean Osborne’s Eschatology Today blog he is extremely conservative with his opinions on the Middle East wars, the timing of the rapture, etc. With that in mind, this is what he posted on his blog 3 days ago …

The update dovetails with what Bro. Steve wrote two days ago..."Can't be long now... This planned chaos is so clearly a set-up to provoke open conflagration on multiple fronts and theatres."
I agree completely!
A watcher then asked
With great respect, I am asking for Bro. Sean and/or Bro. Steve to please expound further on what you mean by “can’t be long now…”
I am sure that this should be obvious, but I am struggling to understand you correctly.
Not long until Israel retaliates towards Iran in a major way?
Not long until we see the prophetic fulfillment of Ps83, Jer49, etc..?
Not long until the Rapture?
Yes to all scenarios?
With much respect, I am asking for some clarification. I see this statement often, lately. Everyone seems to mean different things by it. Thank you again, for your updates and your encouragement. They are much appreciated.
Sean Osborne response
Yes to all scenarios, but especially to the Harpazo of the Bride of Christ!
@geri9 I'm still believing that Pentecost will occur on May 19 based on Nisan occurring on March 11 and according to the green ears of grain (Abib) appearing at that time. May 18 is the 40th day of the warning presented by God to the corrupt government on April 8. We are 12 days away from the collapse of the mystery Babylon and 13 days from our departure.
@geri9 "Not long until" What does that mean? That's like "soon". Define soon. People have been saying soon for years. So yes, the commenter is right, more clarity would be appropriate. I'm with Rick, watching for May 19 because of the eclipse warning.
@terry Thanks Terry, I don't mind setting a date, I've been watching the moon cycles and times and scripture. I was floored when I saw how the dates fell perfectly with Passover and Pentecost. Then on top of that aligned with the 40 day warning and matched Rev 18 1-4. It can't get any better than that. Like other watchers my family thinks I'm goofy but I'm not alone in that boat. Maranatha!
