4 days only till sin and death appears?! Some have stated it was seven years until they were driven out of the Garden!

Speculations of this nature merely reflect our hearts desire for Him!

We are getting close, for sure!  Unless the Lord himself declares that day beforehand, which I believe to be a possibility we lack any authoritative assurance!

Passover certainly makes a lot of sense and it would provoke the unbelieving Jewish people to jealousy.

If the Dead Sea Scrolls calendar has merit, then Passover is 4 days from now.

IMHO, if I had to pick a day when I most think that the Rapture would happen, it would be Pentecost/Shavuot. The feast has been half fulfilled, IMHO. The Church would begin and end on that feast. Pentecost/Shavuot is used to start new eras/dispensations.

One day at a time, though. Today could be the day. :yahoo:

Personally I think there is stronger case for … this Easter April 17th   7,777 days since 1/1/01 of the new millennium … makes better sense if you’re going to “provoke the Jews to jealousy”  than on Pentecost.  Because are today’s Jews even aware or familiar of what Pentecost is all about?     The early church … that were attendance knew and experience the gift of the Comforter  …  but I think the average unsaved Jew living today are just clueless because they refuse to read the New Testament.   It will have to be the 2 witnesses and 144,000 that inform them on what really happened to the church (the rapture).

However, the whole world knows this without having to read their Bible … the Resurrection of Jesus … He was first fruits and those believers in the graves were resurrected also and taken up to heaven.  The pattern is there … so wouldn’t it seem logical the church will also be resurrected on Easter?

John chapter 11   the illustration of Lazarus being raised from the dead happened just prior to the Passover and then the Crucifixion and Resurrection.

And Martha wasn’t talking about Pentecost since that didn’t occur until in the book of Acts.

24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?(This is the rapture)

27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

Jewish people believe that the Law on Mount Sinai was given on Shavuot. Some traditions involve staying up all night (or at least to midnight) and studying Torah. Also, they read the Book of Ruth which is really a beautiful picture of salvation coming to the Gentiles. Also eating cheesecake ? but that's another matter.

If the Rapture were to happen on Pentecost and especially at midnight, that would certainly provoke the Jewish people to jealousy. Especially if we were eating heavenly cheesecake.  😉
