It is already April 1 in Jerusalem, and I'm ready to go! Sundown in Jerusalem is 6:59pm.

Praying that today is the day the last one gets on the ship and the ship sails. :yahoo:

If not, praise the Lord for granting us another day on this earth to do good works that glorify our Father in heaven!

Matthew 5:16

New King James Version

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

A few further thoughts while we wait to see if today is the day….

I am a firm believer in the 6000 years of man’s rule (given to Satan to rule in the garden) over the earth and then the lease is up and the last 1000 years will be given to the Lord’s rule when He breaks the seals on the scroll, takes back His possession of the earth and culminates in His 1000 year millennial reign on the earth - this seems to be very consistent with God’s character and pattern of 7s and makes a lot of sense to me.

Arthur”s calculations also make a lot of sense to me, however even as he said, it is predicated on getting the start date correctly and this is where we get into trouble because as much as we would like a look at God’s calendar He keeps telling us - no peeking!

But I do think we can get very close and I like to do a little spiritual speculation at times and one of the days that also makes a lot of sense to me within this time frame is Passover.

I wonder why was the original Passover on the 14th of Abib and not just the 1st of Abib - have you ever wondered that?  Is is possible that the earth was created on Abib 1st and then it took about 2 weeks for man to be tempted and fall into sin and give up dominion to the devil - plausible I would say.

So if you were God and you started the 6000 year clock ticking would you do it from day one when creation began or would you start it from day 14 when sin entered creation?  Hmmmmm just spiritual speculations….

I often think of the scriptures in Jeremiah, where it is prophesied that no longer will Israel remember the original exodus - what could cause that to happen? In my mind only a greater exodus (rapture?)

I also often think of how we often look to many different feast days for their types and symbolisms of the rapture, but if we could pick ONLY ONE day that God has consistently used to symbolize a rescue and deliverance it would have to be Passover.

I have also though of how the scripture talks about God using the Gentiles to provoke the Jew to jealousy - and again if we were raptured on a feast day, that sure would do it - but again consider if we had to pick ONLY ONE feast day to fit this best which day would evoke the most jealousy?   I would have to say Passover.   This is the day that Jews associate with their deliverance and what if God uses it to deliver us in the rapture instead?  I think that would provoke some amount of jealousy.

I also consider how this feast has never reached its full fulfillment since Jesus did not drink the 4th cup of the Passover meal but said He will not drink of the fruit of the vine again until He drinks it with us in the kingdom - that leads one to think He has bigger plans for that day.

But now, even if I have convinced myself that this Passover will be “the day” (which I have not, I just speculate and see a lot of correlations and think if it is walking like a duck and quacking like a duck it might just be a duck) I still can’t be convinced of what day God is looking at as Passover this year.  It could be the traditional day on our calendar - or if today April 1 is Abib/Nisan 10 on the Dead Seas scroll calendar as Arthur has said then perhaps God’s Passover is in 4 days.

In any case, some of these things are too wonderful for us to know but we can look to Abba expectantly with hope, today and for the next few days to come. Add to this that we are in a schmitta year, add to this that we can clearly hear the hoof beats of the horsemen getting ready to be released (those horses are chomping at the bit!) add to that that next month Israel turns 74 years old and if we have interpreted the fig tree parable/prophecy correctly this gives us another unique time marker - we have a lot of reason to be hopeful today and for the next few days and again I say to anyone sitting on the fence - not a real good idea!

Kiss the Son and call on theLord while He may yet be found!
