Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers will soon receive gloves that deliver a painful electric jolt to those who choose to fight rather than comply. They are called G.L.O.V.E., or Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter, and work like a Taser. If someone becomes any kind of physical threat to the officer or chooses to become physically combative rather than comply, the G.L.O.V.E. delivers a shock. “ICE plans to spend up to $20 million to purchase thousands of ‘conductive distraction and de-escalation devices’ for officers and agents by March,” reports the far-left Associated Press. “Compliant Technologies says the devices function as a normal pair of patrol gloves until officers press a switch to activate their electrical mode,” adds the AP. “The gloves must be applied directly to someone’s skin to deliver a pain stimulus that typically helps an officer gain compliance within seconds, according to the company.” President Donald Trump on Friday condemned the vandalism of the World War II Memorial on the National Mall, calling the act an enormous insult to America’s fallen heroes from the war. Trump took to Truth Social on Thursday shortly before Melissa L. Farris was announced as the suspect tied to spray-painting the memorial. ...someone had poured bubbles into the memorial’s fountains. “Vandalizing our World War II Memorial is a despicable attack on a sacred monument honoring the Americans who fought and died for our freedom. Those Americans include my father and grandfather,” Pirro wrote in a post on X. “This morning, we are filing two felony charges, Depredation Against Property of the United States and Destruction of Veterans’ Memorials, in Federal District Court against Melissa L. Farris, offenses that carry penalties of up to ten years in prison. She is now in custody,” Pirro added. The vandalism comes amid Trump’s beautification efforts throughout the nation’s capital. First Lady Melania Trump has reunited yet another child with their family after being displaced during the Russia-Ukraine war, marking the sixth such round of reunifications she has facilitated, Breitbart News has exclusively learned. The reunification took place Monday. The first lady has helped reunite 34 children and their families since she authored her Peace Letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin a year ago. “There is nothing more powerful than reuniting a mother with her child after an extended period of time,” the first lady told Breitbart News in a statement. As Breitbart News has previously reported, the first lady and her authorized representative, exclusively, have worked with Putin and his team, as well as top Ukrainian officials on reunification matters. Her representative told Breitbart News that talks to facilitate future reunifications with both sides continue in good faith. Domestically, she has championed foster children through Trump’s “Fostering the Future” executive order in support of her Be Best initiative, which she signed as a symbolic gesture. She is also championing legislation to bring reforms to achieve better outcomes for those who are aging out of foster care. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has formally backed a resolution calling for the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Newsweek reports that DNC members approved the measure Saturday during the party’s summer meeting in Austin, Texas, calling on congressional Democrats to pass legislation eliminating ICE and winding down the federal immigration detention system. The resolution also calls for withholding Department of Homeland Security funding unless the administration ends a series of enforcement practices, including workplace raids, large-scale roundups and arrests at courthouses and ICE check-ins. It additionally demands the closure of immigration detention facilities, the termination of private detention contracts and the release of most immigration detainees while their cases proceed. The vote makes abolishing ICE a position formally endorsed by the DNC, although it does not amend the Democratic Party’s official national platform. She wants to legalize theft and asserts that most crime is rooted in poverty. “And we are choosing to protect billion-dollar companies, like CVS and Walgreens, over the people who are struggling to get by. So, I would say that the true crime is that there is such incredible wealth disparity in this city that there are people who can be thrown in jail simply for having a biological need,” she railed, failing to note that rampant theft will either cause these businesses to go under or relocate, not to mention forcing them to put items in locked cases. Gallagher is a very strange politician in her own right. She has a long list of less-than-ethical remarks and actions on her resume since she was sworn into the Assembly in January 2021... She has also been cited with dozens of traffic and parking tickets despite pushing an anti-car agenda in Albany. Over 46 of them as of 2024, and surely a lot more than that by now... She is also unsurprisingly an anti-Israel activist. Councilwoman Vickie Paladino (R-Queens) wrote on X: Your toothpaste and shampoo isn’t locked up because a poor mom once stole a bottle. Walgreens and CVS aren’t closing locations citywide because they lost a few bars of soap. This is happening because organized gangs have been allowed to constantly ransack the stores, enabled by people like Emily Gallagher. And the rest of us pay dearly for it. When stores have to take these kinds of risks just to open, it drives up the cost of products across the board for the rest of us. Remember that next time they lecture about ‘cost of living’ here. They just don’t care.
