geri- so happy for you and your doggie that he is better- almost said back to normal, but after catching up on all these posts i'm thinking he might need "a new normal" but in a good way, not like the craziness in our world...i can't believe he chews and eats all that- i thought maybe he was a puppy!  wow- you are a dedicated doggie mommy!  i had a big dog that constantly escaped perfectly nice big fenced back yards- even had a sister dog out there with her and got tons of human attention and got to be indoors a ton too...even a hot wire at the top of the fence she climbed didn't slow her down one bit-big ole sweet lovable mess...it's true, we just can't help but love them and do what we can to keep them safe and happy...maybe it's how God feels about us sometimes- we can really be brats, but He's so full of love for us no matter what...so happy to hear good news- he looks like a combo of my 2 dogs (a "deer chihuahua" and a terrior chihuahua mix...i love those little critters like crazy...i pray all the time all our pets will come with us at the Rapture- maybe as a wedding gift...but like everything else in life, we have to learn to trust Him with all we love and treasure...He knows, He cares...He is good and gracious...i will pray He will keep your little one safe from his own crazy habits in the meantime...

Yes, indeed … I believe our pets are “good gifts” … and the Lord is not an Indian giver … so I believe we will see our beloved pets in the next life.

Genesis 1:5

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Romans 8:18-23

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body (aka the rapture) 😉

While I don't like the term "Indian giver"  because it was usually the other way around in that the Native Americans got exploited and ripped off, I like the idea of the rest.

I don't think God will waste anything. To God, nothing is expendable. That's what the enemy does. He uses, exploits and then destroys. Life is precious because it ultimately has its source in Almighty God.

So, I believe we will see our pets again and hopefully other animals we knew. I don't have any pets currently but I sort of take care of a number of hummingbirds. It'd be nice to see them flitting around in a heavenly garden in eternity. Smile
Whatever the case, though. The heavenly result will be better than we can possibly think or imagine. :good:

Yeah … I recall this one comic picture …. It showed the Indians looking out in the ocean and seeing 3 ships coming to America’s shorelines “the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria” and one Indian said “what harm can 3 little ships do?”    B-)

Oh indeed we did some pretty awful things but it is very important to note we brought Christianity  to this land. :bible

I too believe our beloved pets will be in heaven.

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away!

Whatever we will have will be better!

BUMPING

Asking for prayer once more … that the useless animal hospital in NY does the right thing and reimburses me at least half of the charges.  They are finally investigating the issue of not properly diagnosing my dog’s ailment.  They want to have a conference call.  I gave them my number but also explained in detailed email all that occurred and included invoices of the local vet who quickly pin pointed and resolved problem.

If you don’t want to be grossed out don’t look at this pic.  This was the rug yarn diet … that was removed from his esophagus region.

Meanwhile the little darling is doing well … he got on 2 legs and reached up with his paw on got a hold of my mitten from the kitchen table and put me thru a few laps this morning trying to chase him down … yep he’s on the road to recovery …

Praying Lord that you honor Geri’s prayers of accountability which is only right!

whether a lost axehead or finances, You are mindful and are able to restore!

May financial fleecing be stopped, in Jesus’ name!
