BREAKING: Arrest Made in Connection to Deadly Palisades Fire – DOJ IDs Suspect Who Intentionally Set Fire: 29-Year-Old Jonathan Rinderknecht:

More left-wing terrorism?

An arrest has been made in connection to the deadly Palisades fire.

Update: 29-year-old Jonathan Rinderknecht of Orlando, Florida, was arrested for intentionally setting the Palisades fire.

Per ABC News:

An arrest has been made in connection with the Palisades Fire, which caused widespread destruction in Los Angeles County and killed a dozen people earlier this year, sources close to the investigation confirmed to ABC News.

Rinderknecht was an Uber driver at the time he intentionally set the fire.
Earlier this year in January, fires exploded in Los Angeles after LA Mayor Karen Bass cut firefighting funds.
Per Fox News reporter Matt Finn: Jonathan Rinderknecht asked Chat GPT last July to create this “dystopian” image that shows a forest burning on the left and people running from it. In the middle, people in “poverty.” On the right, the rich watching the world burn.

Most People Don’t Even Know About The Massive Genocide Of Christians That Is Happening On The Other Side Of The Globe Because The Mainstream Media Is Almost Entirely Ignoring It:

How much have you heard about the massive genocide of Christians that is happening in Africa right now? Vast numbers of people are being abducted, raped, tortured, maimed and slaughtered, but the mainstream media in the United States is mostly ignoring this crisis because most of the victims are Christians. We all tend to focus on whatever the mainstream media is currently focusing on. I often fall into that trap myself. But the truth is that some of the most important things that are going on in our world often do not get much coverage from major media outlets. Today, I feel like I need to write about the horrifying genocide that is taking place in Nigeria, because it deserves far more attention than it is receiving.

In certain parts of Nigeria, if you are a Christian you have to live with the knowledge that your community could literally be attacked by Islamic terrorists at any moment.  According to the International Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law, so far this year over 7,000 Christians that live in that nation have been slaughtered…

This is an average of 35 killings a day, according to the recent report published by the Nigeria-based human-rights NGO International Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law (Intersociety).

When radical Muslims take over an area, one of the first things they will do is to get rid of any existing churches.

During the past 16 years, 19,100 churches have been destroyed in Nigeria.

The level of persecution inside the country is staggering, and one expert is warning that Christianity in Nigeria is “gradually being wiped out”

“If nothing is done in the next few years, Christianity will cease to exist in Nigeria,” said Emeka Umeagbalasi, the founder of the local International Society for Civil Liberties & Rule of Law (Intersociety).

...Bill Maher wondered why young people in the western world are not protesting this genocide

Most of the population of the world now lives in a country where there is a significant level of Christian persecution.

But what we are seeing right now is nothing compared to what is coming.

Pastors Need To Stop Assuming Their Congregations Know The Basics Of The Christian Faith:

Well, the results of the new State of Theology survey from Ligonier Ministries and Lifeway Research is now available, and it’s as disappointing as the 2022 version.  ...Biblical illiteracy is an epidemic.

Evangelicals were defined by Lifeway Research as people who strongly agreed with the following four statements:

  • The Bible is the highest authority for what I believe.
  • It is very important for me personally to encourage non-Christians to trust Jesus Christ as their Savior.
  • Jesus Christ’s death on the cross is the only sacrifice that could remove the penalty of my sin.
  • Only those who trust in Jesus Christ alone as their Savior receive God’s free gift of eternal salvation.

So what do these Evangelicals believe beyond those four basic beliefs?

  • 64% believe that “Everyone is born innocent in the eyes of God.”
  • 53% agree that “Everyone sins a little, but most people are good by nature.”
  • 53% think that “The Holy Spirit is a force but is not a personal being”—compare this with the fact that 98% agreed with the statement: “There is one true God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.” Talk about inconsistent!
  • 47% agree that “God accepts the worship of all religions, including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.”
  • 28% say that “Jesus was a great teacher, but he was not God.”
  • 17% believe that “The Bible, like all sacred writings, contains helpful accounts of ancient myths but is not literally true.”
  • 19% affirm that “Modern science disproves the Bible.”
  • 16% likewise say that “The Bible’s condemnation of homosexual behavior doesn’t apply today.”
  • 28% think that “Religious belief is not about objective truth”—and another 19% aren’t sure how to answer this question.

So what can we do about these kinds of survey results? Well, first, parents need to be teaching their children!

Secondly, pastors and other Christian leaders need to stop assuming their congregations know the basics of the Christian faith, and they need to start incorporating theology and doctrine into their teaching. Pastors are called to be shepherds, discipling the flock. Part of that is teaching doctrine and theology so their churches are filled with robust Christians who’ve moved on from “milk” to “meat.”

Immortal Monkeys? Not Quite, But Scientists Just Reversed Aging With 'Super' Stem Cells:

Key Points:

  • "Super Stem Cells" boosted memory in monkeys and offered protection against neurodegeneration.
  • They halted age-related bone loss and restored vitality in more than half of the 61 tissues examined.
  • The therapy also cut back harmful inflammation and reduced the burden of senescent cells — the aged, non-dividing cells that drive aging throughout the body.

In a discovery that may have profound impacts on aging, scientists in Beijing have taken a dramatic step toward what once seemed impossible: making old animals biologically young again. The study was published last month in the journal Cell.

By fortifying human stem cells with a gene long linked to longevity, they rejuvenated aged monkeys - improving memory, protecting bones, calming inflammation, and restoring youthful activity across dozens of organs.

The work, while still in animals, is among the most compelling demonstrations yet that aging in primates might be reversible.

What Happened Inside the Monkeys

The results were striking:

  • Bone health: Normally, older primates show progressive bone loss, a close analog to osteoporosis in humans. Monkeys that received SRCs maintained or even improved bone density, suggesting the treatment reversed skeletal decline.

  • Cognitive performance: When tested on memory and learning tasks, the treated monkeys performed significantly better, recalling objects and navigating mazes more effectively than untreated peers.

  • Inflammation: Blood tests revealed a sharp drop in inflammatory markers. Since chronic inflammation - sometimes called “inflammaging” - drives many age-related diseases, this finding suggests SRCs could help blunt the root of multiple disorders.

  • Organ vitality: Post-treatment scans and biopsies revealed rejuvenation in the brain, bone, and even reproductive organs. The researchers believe this widespread effect was mediated by exosomes — tiny vesicles released by SRCs that carry rejuvenating proteins and genetic material to other cells, essentially acting as messengers of youth.

As one of the lead scientists, Si Wang, put it: "We see evidence of rejuvenation."

For now, the macaques remain under study, their bodies whispering signals of youth from transplanted cells. But the implications are profound: if scientists can replenish the body’s repair machinery with cells designed to resist aging, medicine might shift from treating diseases one by one to addressing their common root.

That vision - once dismissed as science fiction - is now edging closer to scientific fact.

CBS News has partnered with Climate Central to generate stories and “compelling visuals” about climate change:

Do you ever wonder why corporate news stories seem so one-sided in their “climate change” coverage, promoting the most radical theories while ridiculing so-called “climate deniers?” Similarly, have you ever pondered how judges who are not scientists or climate experts render opinions favourable to the climate cult while citing scientific “facts” and “evidence” to bolster their verdicts?

For some climate-related stories, CBS News has of late been partnering with Climate Central, a non-profit that bills itself as “policy-neutral” and “independent,” but acknowledges on its own website that it “uses science, big data and technology to generate thousands of local storylines and compelling visuals that make climate change personal and show what can be done about it.

While it may not be shocking that far-left (formerly mainstream) news agencies are “partnering” with outside climate groups to produce their stories, more disturbing is the notion that our courts might be subject to such influences. And yet, a day before the Fox News story on CBS came a report from National Review revealing just that.

“An ‘educational’ programme that aims to convince judges to side with climate activists in state and federal cases has already reached more than 2,000 judges nationwide,” the magazine reported. “The programme, called the Climate Judiciary Project (CJP), began under the Environmental Law Institute (ELI) in 2018. Its objective, according to ELI, is to ‘make available to federal, state, and local judges the basic science they need to adjudicate the climate litigation over which they preside’.”

While it’s good that these conflicts have been brought to light, it is not unreasonable to suspect that these entanglements may only represent the tip of the iceberg – an iceberg that even the most radical climate zealot should admit is far from melting.

@patrician Oh brother.  They'll have plenty of climate change to talk about during the trumpet judgments.
