Netanyahu tells Congress ‘Our Fight Is Your Fight’; Thanks Trump in Address:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a powerful speech to a special joint session of Congress on Wednesday, reminding the chamber that the U.S. has a stake in Israel’s fight against Hamas and Hezbollah terror.

“Our enemies are your enemies, our fight is your fight, and our victory will be your victory,” Netanyahu said.

He recalled the many attacks by Iran and its proxies against Americans and noted Iran’s intent to target America after controlling the Middle East. In defending itself, he said, Israel was defending the United States as well.

Netanyahu, who was received with a standing ovation, began his address by acknowledging the Israeli hostages and their families, and by honoring Israeli soldiers in the gallery, — including Ethiopian and Muslim soldiers, and soldiers who, though wounded, returned to the fight.

He rebuked anti-Israel protesters, alluding to the thousands who had gathered outside the Capitol, noting that they stood with Hamas and with “evil.”

Those protesters who held signs saying “gays for Gaza,” he said, may as well have said “Chickens for KFC,” a reference to the Islamic fundamentalism of Hamas, which persecutes and even executes gays and lesbians.

In the audience sat Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who wore a keffiyeh and held signs — “Guilty of Genocide”; “War Criminal” — in protest.

Later, he urged the U.S. to move quickly on military aid: “Fast-tracking U.S. military aid could expedite an end to the war in Gaza, and help prevent a broader war in the Middle East.” Left unsaid: Biden has held back some aid, formally and informally, leading Netanyahu to criticize the administration openly last month.

Netanyahu laid out his vision for “total victory” in the war in Gaza, which included the defeat of Hamas and the return of the Israeli hostages. After the war, he said, he envisioned a “demilitarized and de-radicalized Gaza.” He earned applause when he said that Israel would retain security control of the Gaza Strip to prevent another October 7.

He also proposed a new alliance in the Middle East, a “natural extension of the groundbreaking Abraham Accords.” Called the “Abraham Alliance,” he said, the new group, uniting Israel and the Sunni Arab states, could promote regional security and prosperity.

Netanyahu thanked Biden again for building such an alliance in the Red Sea in his efforts to thwart the Houthis, whom he noted Israel had attacked after a drone attack last week against Tel Aviv.

The prime minister then offered effusive praise for former President Donald Trump and his support for Israel, including moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and forging the Abraham Accords. Netanyahu’s praise for Trump was notably much longer than his praise for President Biden.

In closing, Netanyahu returned to his core message, which is that Israel’s fight against Iran and its proxies is also America’s fight and that Israel is grateful for the aid that the United States provides to Israel in that fight.

The speech, described by pundits afterward as “masterful,” was extremely well-received, with many standing ovations — including from supporters of Israel like Elon Musk, who joined spectators in the gallery.

Secret Service ‘Still Looking Into’ Who Was Providing Overwatch of Building Used by Shooter:

Ex-Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle before she resigned on Tuesday said during a congressional hearing the day before that the service was “still looking into” who was responsible for providing overwatch for the building used by the Trump shooter.

“What I can tell you is that there was a plan in place to provide overwatch and we are still looking into responsibilities and who was going to provide overwatch,” Cheatle said on Monday to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY).

However, on Monday, after Cheatle’s testimony, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) revealed that whistleblowers told him that law enforcement personnel were stationed on the roof that day but had “abandoned it, citing the heat.” They added that law enforcement were supposed to be patrolling the building, but opted to stay inside instead.

Exclusive: Jim Jordan and Tom McClintock Demand Answers on Taxpayer Funds Used for Housing Illegal Immigrants:

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Immigration Subcommittee Chairman Tom McClintock (R-CA) are demanding answers on the use of taxpayer dollars being used to house illegal aliens via Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), according to letters first obtained by Breitbart News.

“Given the nation’s housing crisis posed by the failing Biden-Harris economy and the Biden-Harris Administration’s facilitation of additional alien entries into the country, the Committee is conducting oversight over HHS ORR’s apparent prioritization of refugees, parolees, and other aliens over U.S. citizens and other legal residents."

Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake is among those who have sounded the alarm over this issue, telling Breitbart News at the Republican National Convention last week that rent has doubled in many locations — another negative impact of illegal immigration directly affecting the American people.

“They [illegal immigrants] have to live somewhere, and the government’s putting them up — sometimes hotels, sometimes they’re giving them subsidies for apartments. Even if they’re not … we’re having to compete for those apartments with them,” she explained.

“And when you have only so much supply and you have so much demand, prices go up. That’s exactly why housing is unaffordable for young people,” she continued, explaining that many young people tell her they do not see a future where they can “own homes to have a backyard for dogs to run around and have the ability to get married, afford to be married with children.”

“And it saddens them. They want that. They want that American dream,” Lake added.

Kamala Cover Up: GovTrack Deletes Website Ranking Harris as 2019’s ‘Most Liberal Senator’:

A 2019 GovTrack score that ranked Vice President Kamala Harris as the “most liberal senator” was recently deleted.  "...GovTrack founder Joshua Tauberer said, “The page that you are referring to was based on a single calendar year. Several years ago we discontinued creating new single-calendar year ‘report cards.'”

As Breitbart News reported, GovTrack published a list of 100 senators in 2019. Out of the senators, Harris was in the #100 spot and was viewed as being the most liberal senator.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) came in #99, right behind Harris.

This list has now been deleted, and when you attempt to go to the page, you find a “page not found” message.

Secret Service Threatens Trump: Stop Your Massive Rallies, Or Else:

The same agency that failed to protect former President Donald Trump from a would-be assassin’s bullet is now asking the GOP’s presidential candidate to stop holding large outdoor campaign rallies. The request from the grossly incompetent (at best) federal agency stinks of election interference and sounds a lot like a threat.

House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., told Fox News that it “would be a shame” if the Secret Service shut down the outdoor rallies.

“I think people enjoy going to them and I think, you know, you can get more people outdoors than indoors,” Comer said. “He attracts a big crowd, obviously. I think the president will do what the president wants to do.”

The Post devoted several column inches to what a burden Trump’s outdoor rallies have been for an agency that glaringly failed its mission to protect him. The Post’s narrative is anything but subtle: Trump — and his penchant for massive campaign rallies — is to blame for his near-assassination.

U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., said it’s ultimately up to the former president where and when to hold rallies.

“My advice to the campaign is to hire an independent security expert to oversee security provided by the Secret Service,” said Johnson, whose office is looking into the conduct of the agency.
