The city of Los Angeles spent a million dollars building a public restroom and six months after its completion, it’s still not open to the public. This is a perfect example of government mismanagement. It also explains why it has been so difficult to rebuild there after the wildfires that happened over a year and a half ago. The city and state are drowning in red tape that comes in the form of permits and inspections. Fencing still surrounds the apparently finished facility, and regular hikers report seeing little ongoing work. “They’re about four months behind schedule, and I’m here every day and never see people working on it,” frequent visitor Shirah Scott Astrof said. He continued: First of all, you have people faking their resumes. So you have these body shops [white-collar staffing companies] who bring people in, and it’s cheap labor. So it’s a fact. It happens … Probably about 20-25 pecent of the people who come in on H-1B visas fall in that category. “That’s a very high percentage,” of the 120,000 H-1Bs who arrive each year, Halperin responded. “I’d like somebody who supports the program to acknowledge this: that 25 percent are fraud. What’s the solution for that?” Moreover, Americans’ wages are being pushed down by the population of roughly 1 million Indians with temporary visas... because they say that they suppress wages and they put Americans at a disadvantage, and I hate to admit this, but that does happen,” Wadhwa explained. Wadhwa downplayed India’s central role in the fraud, even though India has very few good universities but provides roughly 70 percent of the workers for the H-1B visas.... The displacement is driven by the ability of clever U.S.-based managers – mostly from India — to privately use the visa programs to sell the jobs of their American employees and subcontractors. The private job sales are managed via wage kickbacks, often called the 80/20 rule. The profits are quietly distributed via layers of subcontracts, managers and executives, and they grow as managers featherbed U.S. offices with extra unproductive workers at elevated wages. The mixed-skill migrants are often expected to compensate for absent skills by hiring their own workers in India to do the actual work, regardless of U.S. privacy laws. Many young and skilled American graduates never even get their foot on the career ladder, largely because there is no limit to the number of foreign workers who arrive via the H-1B program... Looks like New Yorkers have had their fill of communist Muslim Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and they aren’t shy in letting him know about it. In Staten Island at a pro-police celebration, the DSAer took the stage and was loudly booed, followed by calls telling him to “Get out of here!” and “Nobody wants you!” that were shouted out from the crowd. The humiliation was palpable as a grinning Mamdani tried to speak and instead wound up slinking off the stage. Mamdani spoke for less than a minute before he was jeered off the stage, according to Fox News. As the mayor attempted to speak for that short period of time, the catcalls drowned him out. Finally, he thanked the crowd with his smile plastered on his face and his signature hand-over-his-heart gesture, waved, and walked offstage. The crowd REALLY showed its hate for Mamdani, and the boos and jeers went on and on. Some yelled expletives at him. Mamdani has always been hostile towards the police, and the feeling is mutual. He has previously called to defund them and has treated the NYPD like they are the actual criminals. The cold shoulder comes as 9/11 families are telling Mamdani to stay away from the 25th anniversary of the horrific Muslim terrorist attacks. Mamdani has arrogantly said he will attend anyway. New York is waking up in a very bad mood concerning its mayor. Righteous anger will be something that Mamdani will try to quell. New Yorkers are not so easily silenced. The second coronavirus jab could be theoretically associated with miscarriage in the first trimester, Anthony Fauci admitted in a text on his government-issued cellphone, released by U.S. Sens. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Rand Paul (R-KY). Yet, this information was not openly offered to the general public as public health officials actively urged pregnant women to get the vaccine. Paul addressed Fauci and his defender’s claims that he has a personal vendetta against Fauci and is simply obsessed with embarrassing him. Quite the contrary, Paul said, noting he is only committed to the truth. In fact, Paul said he did not really have an opinion on Fauci in the beginning. “It was it was a gradual thing,” Paul said. “And the first thing that struck me, and it was being reported wildly, was kids didn’t appear to be getting sick. They weren’t sure at first whether they were getting infected at all, but kids just weren’t in the hospital, and it turns out they were getting infected and just not getting sick.” Federal health officials knew this early on, so children should have been allowed to go back to school, Paul said. “I think it was more nefarious than just lacking common sense. I think Anthony Fauci had a self-interest in telling us lies because he was worried that he was responsible for funding the lab research that became the pandemic,” Paul said.
