So how hot do you have to be before it becomes work-based salvation? And who is he to say? Good thing he doesn't get to pick. Only God knows our hearts, and He decides! For me, it was the moment I learned to die to self, that is when I was sealed by the Holy Spirit. My underlying problem was anger. The cause of anger was feeling helpless. Jesus taught me that I was never helpless because the Holy Spirit was my helper. Understanding that was how I knew I died to self. Saved by Grace.
