A U.S. Air Force E‑4B “Doomsday Plane” (also called “Nightwatch” or the National Airborne Operations Center) landed at Joint Base Andrews near Washington, D.C., on Tuesday night, after flying from Barksdale AFB in Louisiana,i24Newsreported.
The E‑4B serves as a high-altitude, nuclear-hardened airborne command center for the U.S. President, Secretary of Defense, and Joint Chiefs.
Outfitted with EMP shielding, hardened communications, and room for dozens, it is designed to maintain continuity of government in worst-case scenarios—and stay aloft for days via in-flight refueling.
Historically, the only other publicly known occasion an E‑4B landed near Washington in response to a crisis was on September 11, 2001, following the terrorist attacks.
Though the aircraft does occasionally conduct training flights or readiness drills, the flight’s erratic path and timing — coinciding with the latest escalation between Israel and Iran — have raised eyebrows among military observers and aviation trackers.
... its activation may reflect heightened alertness within U.S. defense infrastructure.
Trump has already reportedly approved attack on Iran but is giving the regime one last chance:
The report said he is waiting to see if Iran will negotiate on a nuke deal.
As tensions escalate in the war between Israel and Iran, President Donald Trump has already approved the decision to strike against Iran, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
The report on Wednesday cited sources close to the president and said he has withheld the final order in an effort to give Iranian officials a chance to accept negotiations on a peace deal as well as nuclear proliferation.
“I have ideas on what to do, but I haven't made a final — I like to make the final decision one second before it’s due,” said the president to reporters on Wednesday.
The report was the most recent evidence that the U.S. may jump into the fray to defend Israel, despite the warnings and threats from the Iranian regime.
Donald Trump: Iran Has ‘Within’ Two Weeks to Negotiate:
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt read a statement from Trump on Iran at the top of the press briefing a day after he said he “may” or “may not” order a strike on nuclear sites in Iran.
“Regarding the situation in Iran, I know there has been a lot of speculation amongst all of you in the media regarding the president’s decision-making and whether or not the United States will be directly involved,” she said.
“In light of that news, I have a message directly from the President … ‘Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,” she said.
Correspondence between the United States and Iran has continued, according to Leavitt, and any deal would be centered on no uranium enrichment and Iran not being able to produce a nuclear weapon.
Let’s be very clear: Iran has all that it needs to achieve a nuclear weapon. All they need is a decision from the supreme leader to do that, and it would take a couple of weeks to complete the production of that weapon, which would of course, pose an existential threat not just to Israel, but to the United States and to the entire world. And that is something that the entire world, including countries like Russia, is in agreement with, that Iran should not and cannot obtain a nuclear weapon.
The briefing comes hours after Trump wrote in a Truth Social post that the Wall Street Journal “has no idea what” his thoughts on Iran are, following an anonymously-sourced article from the publication claiming he authorized “attack plans” but was withholding a final order.
Do you remember the dream someone had from several years ago that when the rapture happened it was a holiday in the summer with fireworks going off? Guess when two weeks from now is? The 3th of July!
It could be like the last attack. The deadline expires and then the next day everything blows up on the 4th of July.
