@yohanan, I love all of Jesus people, I'm one myself and feel the love, God has shared thru each one. I'm waiting for that wonderful day, we see each other. Have a blessed evening, will talk again,if God allows.
I used to lurk over on the RITA FB side and would often see your thoughtful and encouraging memes. Then FB set up some time limits for lurkers and now wants us to sign in 🙄, so I stopped lurking over there. So glad to see you participating over here. Welcome back! Looking forward to the RITA Grand Reunion partea and the tea-riffic treats! So what’s your beverage preference … a sip of sunshine quali-tea leaf drinker or a committed diehard bean juice coffee drinker?
thank you @geri9, I love talking about our Lord coming, so I hope you realize this is new to me again,so I may be slow in talking back. But I'm learning. I've been thinking about all that's happening now and it seems we are leaving soon to be with Jesus. America, is losing it's way with God, He has given us so much blessings in this country. Bur now, as the world talks about us, it's becoming clear, if we don't turn back to Him, judgment is not far and the world is gearing up to apply it on us, with God allowing it. This is a dangerous time, to not turn away, but spend our time wisely in God's word and praying for people to see who Jesus is, God. My daughter told me last night, my only granddaughter said she wants to get baptist soon, she is 23, God is still working. Be ready & get serious for Jesus, we are about to leave, our time is about up, Come Jesus Come!
Boeing CEO to Resign at End of 2024 Amid Safety Crisis:
Boeing has announced that three of its top executives, including CEO Dave Calhoun, are stepping down amidst continued turmoil over the safety of its passenger jets.
The aerospace giant, which has been at the center of an escalating scandal since a serious incident involving a Boeing 737 Max plane, made the announcement on Monday.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Alaska flight 1282, a Boeing 737-9 MAX bound for Ontario, California, departed Portland, Oregon, just after 5 pm Pacific time earlier this year when a deactivated emergency door used as a regular cabin window blew out at 16,000 feet. Six crew members and 171 passengers were aboard the jet. No-one was injured during the incident, but the firm’s safety record has come under renewed scrutiny.
Dave Calhoun, who has served as President and CEO, will be stepping down at the end of 2024 but will remain at the helm through the year.
Mexican President Demands U.S. Pay Up or ‘Flow of Migrants will Continue’:
The president of Mexico, in an interview, has confirmed what essentially appears to be his attempt to blackmail the United States into paying billions of dollars, or else the “flow of migrants will continue.”
Obrador, in recent weeks, has demanded that the U.S. give $20 billion a year to Latin American nations, lift sanctions on Venezuela, end the Cuban embargo and give legal status in America to the millions of Mexicans who already have entered illegally.
Fox reported that the original demands, which have been described by critics “blackmail,” came in January when he made the demands regarding billions in cash, amnesty and more.
WSJ: California Restaurants Lay Off Workers as $20 Minimum Wage Arrives:
California restaurants are laying off workers ahead of a new $20-per-hour minimum wage law taking effect in the fast food industry in April, according to theWall Street Journal.
As Breitbart News hasreported, California is set to raise the minimum wage by 25 percent to $20 per hour, effective April 1, under a law, AB 1228, signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) in 2023.
California restaurants, particularly pizza joints, have outlined plans to cut hundreds of jobs in the months leading up to the April 1 wage mandate, according to state records. Other operators said they have halted hiring or are scaling back workers’ hours.
Though economists have debated whether raising the minimum wage hurts or helps workers, one area where the negative effects are often most keenly felt is in the restaurant industry, where margins are typically small.
A wage hike by Seattle to $15 per hour was found in 2017 to have cost the city’s average low-skilled worker $1,500 per year after employers cut working hours, according toa study sponsored by the city. Many of the hardest-hit businesses by municipal hikes in minimum wage laws across the country have been in the restaurant industry.
