Indeed Israel is primed for war.  Taking into account the climate of hatred for Israel, the geo political climates globally and their respective agenda's war is truly imminent.

Also if we can put any stock into prophetic statements made by some as characterized in the thread of 4 interesting articles offered by "No fear, just faith",  our belief that we are living in the final generation is being constantly reinforced.

Indeed wars and rumors of wars.  The subtle but distinct difference between those who are deceived by their own itchy ears and true prophetic pronouncements lies in which agenda is being served.  Private interpretation and itchy ears seeks to promote personal agenda's of men.  True prophetic utterance seeks to advance the agenda of God!

Revolutionary Guards commander: Iran has encircled Israel from all sides

If Israel makes a strategic mistake, it has to collect bits and pieces of Tel Aviv from the lower depths of the Mediterranean Sea," IRGC Deputy Commander for Operations Abbas Nilforoushan said.

An Iranian Revolutionary Guards top commander threatened Israel, warning against an Israeli attack on Iran, Radio Farda reported on Saturday. "If Israel makes a strategic mistake, it has to collect bits and pieces of Tel Aviv from the lower depths of the Mediterranean Sea," IRGC Deputy Commander for Operations Abbas Nilforoushan said in an interview with the IRGC's Tasnim news agency, as reported by the US-funded Iranian branch of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

Nilforoushan added that "Israel is not in a position to threaten Iran" and that "Iran has encircled Israel from all four sides." "Nothing will be left of Israel" in case of a conflict between the two countries, he vowed. The commander also commented on the confrontation between Israel and Iran forces or proxies in Lebanon and Syria. "We will perceive any mistake in the region as involvement in a war in the whole region. Any action to start a war in the region will flare up a fire that will burn those who have started the war," he said.

Earlier this year, Israel claimed responsibility for hundreds of strikes against Iranian targets in Syria. Nilforoushan also stated that Hezbollah would "liberate northern Israel in case a war breaks out." "This will certainly happen, as Hezbollah has a good capability to do it," he said. According to Radio Farda, the general was born in 1966 in Isfahan and has also served as a "military adviser" in countries that are the members of the "Resistance Front," as Iran refers to the Syrian battlefields.

"Israel lacks strategic depth," Nilforoushan said, adding that because of it, "if only one missile hits the occupied lands, Israeli airports will be filled with people trying to run away from the country." This statement, as well as other claims by the Iranian general, seemed to be devoid of factual basis. For instance, in the interview, he claimed that Israelis are "poor," when according to the International Monetary Fund, in 2018 the GDP per capita in Israel was over $41,000, while in Iran it was less than $6,000. Nilforoushan also said Iran developed a "deep and long-range assault capability." "We will not let the enemies to face us at our borders. We will quickly drag the war to the bases and interests of the enemies anywhere they may happen to be," he pledged.

Hmmm ... couldn’t help but think of these verses  .... :popcorn

Luke 21:20 “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies ...”

Luke 21:28  “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

1 interpretation of Daniel 8: 1 - 9 is that it's a duel prophecy. First it represents Alexander the Great and Greece conquering the Medes and the Persians and the other could be the USA defeating modern day Iran.

Verse 5 sounds like it could be America destroying Iran with airstrikes. America is west of Iran. American military bases are all over the whole earth and planes do not touch the ground

And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. Dan 8:5

Verses 6 - 7 could be Iran (ram) getting totally destroyed by America...

And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand. Dan 8: 6 - 7

Verses 8 - 9 sound like they could be a reference to the 4 horsemen of Revelation with the AC being the little horn...

Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. Dan 8: 8 - 9

So if Daniel 8 is a duel prophecy America will completely destroy Iran from above and the AC will appear after it's over.

Considering all out war with Iran could happen at any moment and that the rapture could happen at any moment this possible duel prophecy is looking really good right now !!!
