I think the Antichrist will be the "people's champion" and will fight against the big bad fake evil NWO. (Soros, Gates, Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Big bankers, big pharm, etc.) This will take place in the first half of the Tribulation. Eventually the Antichrist will win the battle but apparently receive what looks to be a mortal head wound. After "miraculously recovering from that, the mask will come off in the Great Tribulation and his true evil will be shown. It is hard to not see all these things coming together and then at some point soon this strong man coming on the scene taking control. a world leader, the devil's man who will sign a seven year covenant. I don't think we will be sticking around here on earth to see much more, we will be raptured before then. The world is ready to open the door for some superman to "fix" the world's problems and bring "world peace." This AC may just be waiting in the wings now ready to be ushered in at the right time, but the Holy Spirit along with us believers will have already departed for Heaven- taken in the rapture. (2 Thess 2) Indeed, all that is going on now is no coincidence. We will all meet soon at the glorious throne of God! (Rev 4 and 5).
