I agree, I'd rather have the Rapture than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. But as what extent and degree that we will suffer persecution or trials, is up to the Lord. My prayer is that the Lord finds me worthy of His love, always! Let me be clear: I'm not special in any way. I have things that I struggle with daily and have no righteousness of my own. That said, the Lord is still saving me from myself! My ongoing hope is that I can be pleasing in His sight, even when I am not always pleased with myself. TR
