I have never heard of a Quaking Aspen before but I am familiar with the Trembling Aspen. I presume they are the same? I quite like them as they have a calming effect when the wind rustles through their leaves. Sort of like bamboo. It is known by many names: trembling aspen, golden aspen, mountain aspen, popple, poplar, trembling poplar, and in Spanish, álamo blanco, and álamo temblón Missing them in my backyard! Yep … very pretty trees! I love the white bark … when you see a whole bunch clump together in the woods … to me its so inviting and clean looking … like a fairy tail woods to want to investigate and explore to see what else is beyond the trees. I picture some parts of heaven to be like this but on a grander scale. I think it’s going to be GREAT to explore the woods in Heaven! I love the woods, always have and have always wanted to see them.
