Geoffrey Grider over at NTEB nails it with this story.

"This story is stunning on one hand, and quite predictable on the other. The White House, anxious over the unveiling of Jared Kushner’s much-touted and maligned Middle East Peace Plan, did what would seem on the surface to be a slam-dunk. They invited all the leading evangelicals in to discuss Kushner’s plan from a biblical perspective, and to make sure things were lined up properly. But they didn’t invite any Bible believers who could have told them immediately the likely outcome of any such plan to bring peace in the Middle East without Jesus Christ. But I can tell you in one word what the outcome will be – Antichrist."

I suspect the Lord clearly saw all these developments, including the names Kushner, Netanyahu, and even Cyrus and Trump even well before He dispatched Gabriel to tell Daniel about it all.  Even this latest White House meeting with evangelicals. Verbatim foreknowledge, thousands of years ago...

I wonder if any of the Peace Plan participants, those who today believe in Jesus and who have put a lot of sweat into the plan up until now, might otherwise have preferred to stay down here to see what actually happens, and how their own past efforts will have proven to play into what occurs after we are all gone.  Mixed emotions probably.  (In trying to understand this paragraph one might have easily become tense.  By the way, doesn't "future perfect" appeal to you as the preferred tense.   :stinkerbell: )

I agree with you.  God knows the end from the beginning because He is the Lord of time and exists outside of it.  That's how He knows what everybody is going to do before we do it, and yet allows free will to remain in play.  It's like He has seen the entire movie of history, knowing all the twists and turns, even as men freely exercise their will.  He knows what will happen before it happens because He has already seen it happen.  He operates in a world of foreknowledge and free will.  That's the kind of truth that can make your head hurt unless you simply acknowledge that He is God and we are not.

If we could really come to that same conclusion 100% of the time, Watchman35, we never would have a trust problem, would we?

My speculation is that Trump's peace plan shall infuriate both Israelis and Palestinians, which shall lead to more conflict and war rattling. It could be a precursor to a war between Israel and the three shepherds.
