Lord! TR Indeed, touching the face of God after all this time will be glorious! Even greater still will be seeing the Lord's face as He gazes upon each of us. The joy and love that will beam from his face as He studies ours will warm and melt every heart! Like a proud father with a new born child, he will take in every feature, every detail, every expression. Then he will exchange his expressions of admiration and pride sharing his thoughts with us. Lastly, he locks his eyes with ours. Peering into the depths of our souls, seeing and knowing all about us. Sharing his unconditional approval and love, he speaks comfort and calms all our fears. Mostly he speaks those words so gracious, saying: You belong here with Me and always have. Glad you're here, and thank you for loving Me! This is your forever home from now on, and I will never leave you! Then God touches our face! He turns and looks at the Father and proudly says: I touched his/her face! TR I got goose bumps just thinking of what you said T.R. ... Jesus, touching our faces and proudly saying to God the Father “I touched his/her face“. Wow. From these verses Jesus is also going to call us His brethren. Looks like Jesus is also going to “introduce/confess us“ to God the Father so perhaps we will see God the Father too?!! Hebrews 2 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. 13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. ———- Luke 9:26 “For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.” Matthew 10:32-33 “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. _____ I would think ”those that deny Jesus before men” are the unsaved crowd ... hmmm I wonder if we have a clue in verse 33 that the Great White Throne Judgement takes place in heaven vs. on the restored earth in Jerusalem? Thanks Sis, and bless your heart. For your sake and His! TR
