My friend Jeff Wade says what we're all sensing . . well ~ ~ "when you take the entirety of Scripture, that is direct prophecies, implications, types, signs, etc, I believe with all my heart that this is the year that Jesus returns for us and judgment on the world begins. There are too many things lining up for it all to just be coincidence. Of course, I have no direct revelation or word from the Lord, I am speaking from the view point of everything we are witnessing in this world and how it looks exactly like God said it would just prior to His return. We already know that we are the final generation, Scripture clearly tells us that in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. God also told us in Daniel that the last generation of believers would understand exactly what we were seeing. We see more clearly today than we ever have before! We can even see the alignment of the constellations, which God says in Genesis 1:14 that He put there for signs, through computer software such as Stellarium and others, technology that's only been available for the last few years. There is a sort of a shelf life on prophetic signs. Once they all converge, they can't just go on indefinitely without playing themselves out. And today, ALL of the signs have converged into one big neon arrow pointing to the Rapture of the church and subsequent Tribulation Period! Last year, I was fully convinced it was time because I thought the 80 year generation expired in 2028. Now I believe that we were just a year off. Jesus said in Matthew 24 when the fig trees branch is tender and puts forth leaves. Israel became a nation in 1948 but I think the leaves didn't appear until March 1949 with the establishment of their first government. That makes the end of the 80 year generation 2029, the year in which many other things end as well. At this point I must confess something. I've been watching for the Rapture since 1986. I was excited about the Lord's return but I always felt like something was missing. There were signs but not all the signs together. I always said maybe this year, but maybe not. But I tell you, last year, that all changed. I believed that it couldn't be another year. Of course, as I mentioned, since I believe I may have been a year off, the same goes for this year. I have never before had the sense that time can't go any farther, that this is it!!! And to corroborate that, I have never seen the watching portion of the body of Christ so collectively convinced that the Rapture is immediately ahead of us!! I am not a prophet. I am not setting any dates for the Rapture. I am simply saying that God Himself said that we would see the day approaching and we would understand when that day got close, and I have never seen the body of Christ "see" and "understand" collectively as we do today! That alone is a sign that HE IS COMING VERY SOON!! Jeff Wade Indeed Apr is here! Recently it got me to thinking about our D.O.S. or our date of separation! My D.O.S. from military service was Apr 21 1977! Hmmm! TR Our being not taken unawares is also a gift of God for His church and bride! Ergo why scripture supports the idea of a heads up! I may not always understand the full details of God's plans, but strive to apprehend the fullness of His heart! TR I can easily understand why God would keep Christ's first advent and the formation of the Church secret. The famous verse 1 Corinthians 2:9, which has been misinterpreted to mean what God has for us in Heaven but is actually talking about the revelation of our Savior, which was hidden from the foundation of the earth, and referred to in Isaiah 64:4. But our exit doesn't seem to need this mystery to me. Satan has always had his man of the hour in waiting. Hitler is a great example. So he has been ready. I think the mystery of the timing has more to do with how we would respond to it, most likely in the same fashion as the early church did....sitting on the rooftops waiting. Seems to me that this notion has been conveniently robed and enshrouded by the premise of insider knowledge! TR
I write this post for two reasons. One, to encourage the saints. Brothers and sisters, we are coming up to our glorious day of redemption! Two, to let the unbelievers and naysayers know that the ark is about to leave port, and when it does, it's too late, you are stuck here for the nightmarish hell that is going to come upon this earth! That Ark is Jesus Christ and He represents safety to all who call upon his name. He is the only escape for what is about to go down.
Ok, sorry for the rambling but hopefully y'all get my drift.
