A frequent tactic employed by national and global leaders is to squeeze the general public from either top and bottom, or left and right, depending upon how you want to describe it. For example, stirring up conflict in the street protests with anarchy results in calls for brutal crackdowns by the police from the frustrated citizens. Those at the top don't really mind the rioting so much because the end objective is to gain control over the majority of the people and to strip them of their freedom. I had a discussion once with a co-worker about the nearly universal description of Nazis as right-wingers, while Communists are depicted as being on the left. Actually, a more realistic image would be that instead of a straight line, we should see them as being part of a circle, with both sides sharing many of the same characteristics. Both are authoritarian and opposed to liberty, especially liberty found in God and individual thought. One reason they cannot abide the preaching of the Word is that God doesn't change how He sees things, and to gain control the world's leaders have to convince people to compromise their principles in order to remain alive. It would be better to change our leaders than to incur the wrath of God. By the way, the democrats and Republicans as well as CNN and Fox news (many Catholics there) are all part of this Hegelian dialect formula. It's all play acting. The more outrageous, the better. They are all friends behind the scenes. They have a common goal and that is the destruction of the USA and bringing it into the one world order. :negative: That's been one of the most puzzling things to my perhaps naive and linear mind all these years, even as a boy, wondering what's wrong with that rebel?? Doesn't he or she know how nice things are without bickering, particularly over the totally reasonable needs laid down by those in authority? I couldn't even fathom the mindset of O's fascination with actually implementing "Rules for Radicals." Maybe what's worse than congressional RINOs is my own realization (maybe I'll reserve and withhold a little judgment and say, suspicion) that this is all just a game. A gruesome who-gives-a-shi# game where people die horrid miserable deaths. Maybe my grandfather's uncle was an ostrich and I came by naivete naturally without the fear part which I oddly didn't have. Like I said: -- scales. No longer disbelief about "who in their right mind would want it this way???" Thank God I can't think like the devil. The realization makes me draw closer to God. There is no deceit or lies in Him. The whole world is crumbling but God is our source of Strength and our Immovable Rock. :yahoo: Amen! TR

It also makes me feel more and more like a pilgram and sojourner on this earth.
