not sure what to make of this, but here's fyi

the Sanhedrin is planning a meeting Sept 26 of 70 nations, "the first conference of the organization of 70 nations"

The conference is to bring together all of the nations under the common belief in the sanctity of the Bible and the sanctity of all of mankind. The members of the organization agree to the sanctity of Jerusalem and the Temple’s, as well as the sanctity of God’s covenant established with all of mankind through Noah. Every nation and ethnic group who sees itself as part of humanity and therefore accepts responsibility to join in a universal covenant of brotherhood of peace is invited to take their place in this Organization of 70 Nations.”

in the video in the article, the speakers are talking about not being for Gog and Magog but for peace. they bring up seeking peace with Iran. see in the video from about 15:39

Curious.  Haven't watched the video yet.  My first impression is that Israel is naturally trying to foster allies and legitimacy for both Israel and a temple.  It is my understanding that indeed many nations and people groups are indeed in favor of a third Jewish temple.  Trying to gather a concensus for the backing of a third temple.

Curious that the Sanhedrin a 70 member body is gather together 70 nations at this pivotal time in history!  Hmmm

Hmmm ... so they want to go back to Noahide Laws ... aka “Days of Noah”

“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark.  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Keep looking up!

Regina,

Thanks for posting. This is very curious. Noah is pre-Israel as a nation and pre-Abrahamic covenant with nation and the land had not been given.

The Sanhedrin are known for stepping beyond the laws and adding to them. It is believed they stretched the 10 original directives from God to Moses to include 633 give or take a few.

In ancient times (Moses was directed to choose 70 men). The official legal system of today’s Sanhedrin is to be made up of 71 men for the Greater Sanhedrin (70 plus 1 for Moses) and 23 men for the lesser Sanhedrin.

The Sanhedrin are still considered the legal court system of Israel. They must come from certain tribes (Levite primarily); daughters must marry within the Leviticus priestly family to give birth to eligible men considered for positions.

This is more than likely setting up of the ruling body who will proclaim the AC as messiah (only the Sanhedrin can announce the messiah), rule by His law during the 7 years and bringing ALL nations under subjection to the AC

This could be a huge step in we are out of here before Sept 26, just saying and hoping and praying! :prayer-hands: :prayer-hands:

This whole Sanhedrin "thing" seems very much tied to the establishment of the 3rd Temple--which will be a stench in the nostrils of a Holy God because that Temple will be a man-made memorial that falsely testifies in its daily sacrifices that THE sacrifice of THE Lamb of God was not sufficient.

It is quite amazing how many pieces of the proverbial Temple puzzle have already been set in place.  To expand on the puzzle analogy, have you ever worked one of those large jigsaw puzzles on your kitchen table or maybe the "guest" fold-out table?  I don't do that much and frankly never particularly enjoyed it (lol), but when I did my strategy always used to be to find all the straight edge pieces to build the frame, and then begin to methodically attack (sorry, I am project manager by trade) various sections distinguished by their respective colors.  Every once in awhile, you would get down to the very end, only to realize you were out of loose pieces but there is still one missing in the puzzle itself.  Maybe it fell under the table, or the dog ate it, or it accidentally got thrown out when someone was cleaning up?

That's kind of how I see the Temple.  The framework is already clearly built by scriptures in Matthew 24 and several chapters of Daniel.  Other pieces of the puzzle that have fallen into place include, off the top of my head:

1) An altar dedicated last December (2018) on the last day of Chanukah.

2) Temple implements that have all been re-created (with the exception of one, the Ark of the Covenant, which is like one of those lost pieces, but "Uncle Sanh'dy" swears he has seen it somewhere and will get it for us when the puzzle is ready to be finished.)

3) Qualified Levitical priests whose DNA has been tested and validated to qualify for the job (the folks at 23 & Me couldn't be prouder)

4) Priestly garments ready (That's for the part of the puzzle that displays what I'll call the shmata section.  Shmata is a Yiddush word for rag or clothing, that typically doesn't have a particularly favorable intention to its use.  I think, given the spiritual context of the 3rd temple, those priestly garments are unimpressive shmatas to our Lord.)

5) Training schools for the priests--reminds me how preoccupied we human beings can become about the outward appearance of keeping the law, while the Lord is looking upon our hearts.

6) Appointing of a high priest back in 2016.  (I can only assume how offensive that must me to the Lord Jesus, our Great High Priest.)

7) Availability of a spotless red heifer for the necessary sacrifice.

8) Blue prints for building the actual structure.

Aside from the "missing" piece of the Ark of the Covenant, which most are firmly convinced Harrison Ford has absolutely no idea where it currently is, the only other missing piece of the puzzle I can see is the big green light that will allow Israel to move forward in actually building it.  Actually, I thought that might happen in July based on a pattern I observed in Ezra related to the relationship of the timing between the dedication of the altar and initiation of building, but alas that pattern is evidently not going to repeat itself since we are now in August.  Nevertheless, that missing piece of the green light could show up any day and complete the puzzle.  Maranatha!
