Wow this is cool .. and I would think those who are named Johanna/Joanna etc. would be included in the group as well. I also love how Arthur’s name means the “Lion of God” and here his middle name is Daniel. How fitting … His parents knew what they were doing when they carefully chose his name! My name Denis is derived from the Greek God of wine Dionyisus, probably misspelled! In Hebrew it is Tsebach I believe. I hate wine! But a NT believer had that name! TR Well, Arthur was my paternal Grandfather's name. So that was straightforward. My paternal great great grandfather's name was Daniel who was a Methodist lay preacher. (He was nicknamed "The Worthy" since he was a member of the House of Keys, the Parliment of the Isle of Man.) Can't wait to meet him! My family name hasn't such a beautiful meaning so it all evens out. :good: It looks like Denis is also … the keeper of the vegetation not just the wine. Do you like veggies? You don’t like wine but isn’t brandy wine? A variant form of Dennis, in allusion to Dionysos, the god of vegetation and wine, in Greek mythology. French The fruit of the vine may not be to your liking but being a keeper of the vine does not necessarily mean you have to drink it  As Geri mentioned, you could be the vegetation king .... got cucumber :mdrmdr: Names are important to God, isn’t great He knows your name! :prayer-hands:
