"'Will you walk into my parlour,' said the spider to the fly..."  With friends like Vlad, who needs enemies?  Seems like somebody might want to pay a little closer attention to the prophet Ezekiel.  Just sayin'.

I appreciate the commonly supported understanding of the nations of Ezekiel 38, I was of the same reasoning not long ago.

I think we should be looking at the islamic nations, primarily Turkey.

Russia is a close ally of Israel and has many of it's former citizens living in Israel.

As the wrath of God is involved in Ezekiel 38, we will not be here, also the supernatural will be in play, the Nephilim will be involved, hence the burning of weapons and the time that it takes to clear up.

Please explain more what you mean by the Nephilim and burning of weapons. I know the Nephilim are involved and I know burning of weapons takes place, but is there a connection to the two you are getting at?

Loz,

When the Kings of the East later comes marching from the Great Wall of China trekking along the Silk Road highway then thru the dried up Euphrates River ... does Russia end of teaming up with China then in the 2nd wave of the G/M attack?

The other question I have is if the Russian troops only stay on the sidelines and are not part of the Turkish, Iranian, Sudan, Libya, etc. invasion ... won’t the Russian troops be in harms way because there will be a great earthquakes in that region and all the walls will fall down, plus fire and brimstone will be coming down from heaven and will also cause great confusion and every sword will be against each other.  Will Russian troops survive the judgments from the Lord?  Or will they just pack up and go home out of fear after observing that magnificent event?    Just wondering your thoughts on this?

Your not kidding Blue,

My vision of the Rapture is possibly 1 - 2 billion people disappearing (Mostly children) leaving their clothes and all of their blood behind (Everyone left behind is going to lose their mind)

Followed by the AC, the fallen angels, demons, and who knows what else coming out of the woodwork in their UFO's and totally taking over this planet.

And that's probably just the first 24 hours.

Meanwhile we will be very far away seeing and enjoying things we can't even imagine right now. : ) Praise God !!!

@ Leaving Soon  Your comment about possibly 1-2 billion people being removed from the earth at the harpazo initially struck me as being optimistically high.  However, upon further thought and research, I think that may be a pretty good guesstimate.  I never really thought through the number of children and tended to be focused on how relatively few adults will make it.

Using round figures, there are approximately 8 billion people one statistic that estimated roughly 25% of those would be fourteen years old or younger here on planet earth today.  Fourteen may be high for the age of accountability, but if we use it for the sake of this post, it has implications of somewhere between 1.5-2 billion caught up, not even including adults.  I totally agree that the young children will be the biggest group represented in the Bride of Christ.  I personally think the percentage of adults who will be caught up is much, much lower than the 25% swag of children under the age of accountability.  Quite likely down in the single digits imho.  So it could end up being in the 2 billion ballpark total when combining the-age-of accountability children with true believing adults.  Even if we are "sheltered in place" when we are called up, the impact of such a large group of people disappearing is hard to begin to even fathom.

I agree that I think it is Turkey and not Russia that invades Israel.  Erogan is a psychopath and definitely has designs on Israel and would love to steal their resources.  Putin,  according to many reports,  is actually Jewish.

I really think Russia is not the bad guy here.  More likely,  they get betrayed by Turkey.
