I don't know how long it takes for this system to reach Israel, but this is interesting. If we are gone by next week, maybe the destruction of Damascus is after. From Wackadoodle Samoan:

Thanks.  He sounds like he thinks it's going to be used to attack Damascus, but people in the comments are saying THAAD is a missile interceptor defense system like the Iron Dome and can't be used for offensive attack.

He also said there's a rumor that Israel will attack Iran this weekend or around election time.  We shall see I suppose.

He thinks there are WMDs in Damascus that they will be defending against.  He should have said "protect against" instead of "shoot down." If so, they will likely strike Damascus back. Possibly I am reading too much into it. I love his enthusiasm! Hopefully we won't see because we will be out of here!!! I am glad the US is sending them. I haven't watched the other video he spoke of.

From Five Doves, KS Rajan Oct 13:

More people in UK are atheist than believe in God: report

The number of people in the United Kingdom who identify as atheist is greater than those who say they believe in God, according to a research project examining why people reject religion.

Explaining Atheism, a three-year program overseen by Queen’s University Belfast in collaboration with other academic institutions launched in 2022, presented interim findings earlier this year on the levels of atheism in multiple countries, including the United Kingdom.

According to the research project, from 2008 to 2018, the number of Brits who don't believe in God rose from 35.2% to 42.9%, leaping ahead of belief in God, which dropped from 41.8% to 37.4% during the same period. Additionally, those who say they don't know if God exists dropped from 21.7% in 2008 to 18.2% in 2018.

This means that the U.K. — England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland — countries whose monarch serves as head of the Church of England, has a population in which a “relative majority,” or plurality, do not believe in God.

Additionally, the National Centre for Social Research found in 2019 that only 38% of Brits identified as Christian, the lowest total in around three decades of polling.

“Our results show that the extent to which one is socialized to be a theist (mainly by parents, but also by wider society) is the key determining factor,” said Lanman. “Socialization is known to be important to what we think about the world and the values we hold.”

"Lisa Taylor:  A Pilgrimage Festival Pattern? Letter Plus A Few Thoughts on Feast of Tabernacles"

Lisa's letter:
A Pilgrimage Festival Pattern?

"Why did God spotlight Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles - the three pilgrimage festivals?  There must be a reason for these choices and order."
For Tabernacles, Lisa wrote, "It should follow that something of consequence should happen to the Church on a future Tabernacles.?

Lisa reminded us of the great multitude in Heaven, Revelation 7:9-10, waving palm branches.  This could be a celebration of Tabernacles.

I'd like to add a couple of thoughts -
Remember the story of Jesus' transfiguration?  Matthew 17   He was with Peter, James and John high up on a mountain.  Jesus was suddenly transfigured before them - "His face shone like the sun and His clothes became as white as the light."  Elijah and Moses appeared to Jesus and talked with Him.

Peter asked Jesus if they could put up "three tabernacles: (skenas)  one for You, one for Moses and one for Elijah?"
The Greek word 'skenas' means 'tabernacles.'
And it must have happened during the Feast of Tabernacles otherwise why would Peter ask if he could build them 'tabernacles'?

Can we connect what happened on the day of the transfiguration with Moses and Elijah showing up during the Feast of Tabernacles to a future Feast of Tabernacles when 'Jesus' two witnesses' show up?   Jesus calls them "MY two witnesses".

The Believers will be raptured before the start of the Tribulation...the Rapture is to take place before the two witnesses show up.

For Moses and Elijah to show up on Feast of Tabernacles to speak with Jesus - shows how important that day is.  And how important the Lord's Feast Days are.  Is this a clue to when they will show up during the Tribulation?

Did God spotlight Tabernacles because of what is going to happen during that time period to the Church in some year?  Definitely days to follow closely.

We could very well go 'tabernacle' with the Lord.
