I suspect that many inmates will vanish at the rapture.

Many houses will catch on fire due to food cooking on stoves left unattended.

Imagine a stadium at a sporting event...

The rapture will truly be perplexing to those left behind.

Great thought “The Way” - on the need to track those who try to escape! I used to watch a lot of the prepper shows for good ideas the have on hand for those left behind, what I think these folks did not understand is that per satellite infrared imaging, they can still find you, unless you are very cold! Per my knowledge, assuming room temperature is not always in your best interest, unless you are a stroke patient and we are attempting to preserve brain tissue... :mdrmdr:  just saying! We need to go home :prayer-hands:

Tammie,

I used to watch those prepper shows too.  I think it was Doomsday Preppers?  Oh my ... I was laughing so hard at some of the stuff these people were doing.  Some people were practical but then there were others who were waaay over the top.  I felt sorry for them because if they only got saved, they wouldn’t have to be doing the extreme prepping.  One guy was collecting metal so he could make his own ammo and other sharp weapons to use in case someone came on his property ... he was ready for them. Another person had so much food stored - she was a hoarder and she admitted she didn’t know where everything was - she stored it everywhere in her house, including the hot/cold attic, under her bed, in the wooden floorboards, etc. and she can’t rotate the food because she doesn’t know where everything is ... so its all going to spoil eventually.  One guy was using a bow and arrow hunting wild animals like skunk, rabbit, possum, squirrel, etc. and expected his poor wife to make a meal out of it.

And I’m giggling when you mentioned “the hot glue piled on the table” :mdrmdr:   I use my glue gun all the time too!  In fact I need to get a new one because the trigger keeps jamming up.   2 days ago I just finished making a flower wreath and I used the glue gun to apply this Christmas garland on this wooden mirror frame.  I always try to be careful but it never fails ... I now have hot glue piles stuck to my kitchen table. :mdrmdr:

Geri7, might be worth spending the extra money to get yourself one of those fancy glue guns with the automatic turnoff timer feature. L0l. Just sayin'. Smile (Have to use my own emoticons...something on my computer settings apparently won't let me drag them like I used to 🙁

Wonder if watchers should invest in automatic timers for water areas? :mdrmdr: :good:

LOL ... GREAT idea!  My glue guns I had for years (mini low watt to large high watt but I mostly use the large high wattage one) so I think its time to invest in a more up scale one.  I was clueless they now have a timer  ... and I see some are even wireless and have a little round circle tray to catch any drips. :good:

My next project is putting up styrofoam crown molding.  It looks like real wood crown molding but so much cheaper and I don’t have to hire a carpenter.   If I get a wireless glue gun then I wont have to buy 4 extension cords ... B-)
