A report from FOX News Digital shows pro-gun control Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) spent about $360,000 for security between January and September of 2025. According to the report, the firm Warnock used–Executive Protection Agencies, LLC–provides various levels of security, including armed security for “political figures.” Looking back beyond the past nine months, FOX News Digital discovered that “Warnock’s campaign has spent over $2.7 million on private security dating back to Dec. 2020.” On February 15, 2022, AXIOS released figures showing how much Congressional members spent on personal security in 2021. Sen. Warnock outspent all other Congressional members listed, shelling out over $605,000 for security during that year alone. But Warnock has been a very strong proponent of restricting Second Amendment rights for Americans. And the year after the passage of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA)–the gun control package signed into law by former President Biden–The Guardian noted that Warnock praised passage of the BSCA, but said it was “clearly not enough.” Warnock expressed frustration that more gun control could not be passed, saying, “We are at an impasse because there are people in … politics … who are doing the bidding of the corporatist gun lobby even as they line their pockets with the blood of our children.” Vice President JD Vance argued at a Breitbart News Policy event that the Biden administration’s open-border policies have fueled a humanitarian crisis while threatening U.S. national security. Speaking with Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle, Vance remarked, “One of the things that always frustrated me about the immigration debate is that we ignored how open borders were not actually good for the dignity even of the illegal migrants themselves.” He referenced widespread abuse at the border, stating, “You had little kids getting sex trafficked.” He added, “We had 300,000 missing children under the Biden administration that the Mexican drug cartels had brought into our country.” Vance stressed the role of criminal organizations in exploiting those border conditions. “You had cartels using, some cases, nine- and ten- year old children as drug mules for their activity,” he said, characterizing the situation as a moral failure with global implications. “Border security is not just good for American citizens. It is the humanitarian thing to do for the entire world, because when you empower the cartels and when you empower the human traffickers, whether in the United States or anywhere else, you’re empowering the very worst people in the world.” ...“It’s almost like Europe and America got this idea in their head that to control your border at all was fundamentally, you know, uncompassionate. Maybe it was even racist and bad.” Dismissing that notion, Vance stated that putting citizens’ interests first “is not some ancillary thing. It is the very purpose of government.” The U.S. is mulling a host of options such as sanctions and Pentagon engagement on counterterrorism as part of a plan to compel the Nigerian government to better protect its persecuted Christian communities. Nigeria is under scrutiny from U.S. President Donald Trump, who in early November threatened military action over the treatment of Christians in the West African nation, as Breitbart News reported. The United Nations is just one platform that has been used by the Trump administration to call the world to notice Christians being ruthlessly slaughtered in Nigeria. Trump also directed the U.S. Defense Department to prepare for possible “fast” military action in Nigeria if the West African nation fails to crack down on the killing of Christians. In a host of countries the U.N. details Christians are arbitrarily arrested, attacked, assaulted, and killed because of their faith. Anti-Christian bias has been rightly called “the last acceptable prejudice,” one that few condemn or even recognize. “No one much cares about offending Christians,” wrote the coalition of African-American pastors in a 2019 essay. “In fact, mocking, belittling, and blaspheming Christianity is becoming a bit of a trend in our culture. Anti-Christian bigotry truly is the last acceptable prejudice.” “The hypocrisy on display is astounding,” the pastors continued. “Christianity is the dominant religion of our country. It is the foundation of our government and morality. And yet, Christians are treated as fair game for mockery and insult.” President Donald Trump and New York City's Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani cracked jokes during a surprisingly cordial meeting in the Oval Office on Friday. Mamdani arrived at the White House Friday afternoon for his highly anticipated meeting with Trump, leaving many to speculate if their interactions would be friendly or fiery. After the meeting, both politicians maintained that the meeting went well with a common focus on affordability, with Trump even slipping in a few jokes to lighten the mood. Alongside the many moments where the two joked about contentious remarks they've made about each other, both Trump and Mamdani agreed on key issues like affordability and cost of living. Trump acknowledged that their solutions to these issues would likely be different, but he cordially praised Mamdani as a "rational person" who sincerely wants New York City to succeed. Despite numerous setbacks, President Donald Trump remains committed to ending the war between Russia and Ukraine — a war that has resulted in over a million casualties and turned much of Eastern Ukraine into drone-netted wasteland. To this end, his administration has drafted a 28-point peace plan that would give both warring parties something they want: for Russia, concessions to much of the land it presently occupies in Eastern Ukraine; and for Ukraine, a NATO-style security guarantee from the United States. The plan's 28 points as of Thursday are as follows, according to Axios and Agence France-Presse: [More at the link.]Report — Guns for Me but Not for Thee: Sen.
