Above all, Pelosi was so polarizing and divisive that throughout her role on the national stage after becoming House Speaker in 2007, she was not only one of the most consistently unpopular politicians in the country, but she also helped the GOP raise money like no one else. The Supreme Court, in a 6-3 decision on Thursday, allowed President Trump to enforce a new policy that has ended the use of the “X” marker on passports. President Trump signed an executive order shortly after his inauguration, which directed agencies like the State Department and Homeland Security to issue IDs, including passports, visas, and Global Entry cards, based solely on biological sex assigned at birth. Congressman Mike Quigley (D-IL) tried to stir up outrage after claiming ICE took a preschool teacher into custody in front of children in his district. Quigley wrote on X, “ICE isn’t going after the worst of the worst. This morning, they took a preschool teacher without a warrant IN FRONT OF CHILDREN in my district.” The truth, however, which Quigley failed to share, does not align with his agenda.
