Podcaster Gavin Newsom Launches Methane Satellites as California Borrows Money for Health Care:

Californis Governor Gavin Newsom announced Friday that the State of California will launch methane-detecting satellite sensors at a cost of $100 million — while it is borrowing over $6 billion to fill shortfalls in its health care system.

The Golden State is out of cash, and its Medicaid system, Medi-Cal, is reportedly insolvent thanks to Newom’s decision to expand free health care to illegal aliens. The state is also reeling from wildfires, homelessness, and crime.

Yet Newsom, who recently launched his own podcast, believes that the state has enough money to fund the launch of satellite sensors to track the local release of methane, a greenhouse gas, in an effort to reduce global emissions.

Ironically, California has emitted six times more carbon dioxide than any other state in the Union over the past 17 years, thanks to wildfires that have burned out of control partly due to the state’s failure to clear brush in forests.

Newsom announced the satellite launch as a dig against the Trump administration over climate change — even as he is also counting on President Donald Trump and the Republicans to provide $40 billion in aid for the California fires.

...you have to make it look like it’s coming from the Cubans if you’re going to do this operation. They started running this in 2010 which right during the Arab Spring.

They were using USAID funds that were designated to Pakistan.

...the whole point is, once they hit a critical mass, they would create ‘Rent-a-Riots”.

“You’re using Cayman Islands bank accounts. You’re saying it’s, you’re earmarking it for Pakistani aid.” But the money was never sent to Pakistan, it was sent to the Cayman Islands to fund this whole operation.

And it goes back to Barack Obama.

Now you know why Democrats are losing it after President Trump shut down USAID.

It’s the Democrat Party’s slush fund.

Michelle Obama Says She Was Shocked That People Hated Her School Lunch Program:

Michelle Obama said during a podcast appearance on Thursday that she was shocked by how unpopular her school lunch program was and blamed it on partisanship instead of the awful meals with poor servings.

Obama’s school lunch program, officially part of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act (HHFKA), was signed into law in 2010. It was nearly universally hated for the gross meals it served to students.

The former first lady discussed the program during an interview with Kylie Kelce’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, released Thursday.

A 2014 National School Boards Association survey found that 83% of districts reported student dissatisfaction, with many kids tossing the healthier options straight into the trash.

That’s right—nearly half the state is ready to ditch the Democrats’ stranglehold on power.

Kachelman: Today’s Democrats are a Redux of the Whigs:

From 1840-1856 the Whigs enjoyed a political posturing that gave them power. Americans voted a Whig into the White House (1840 and 1848). Some of the most prominent political voices in the early 1800’s were Whigs (Henry Clay, Daniel Webster and Abraham Lincoln).

Dave Roos remarks, “But for all of their prominence and power, the Whigs couldn’t keep it together…the Whig party experienced a meteoric political rise that was rivaled only by its abrupt and total collapse.”

Former Whig member William Seward (Lincoln’s Secretary of State), pronounced the party’s eulogy in 1855: “Let, then, the Whig party pass. It committed a grievous fault.” “It’s remarkable how fast it all fell apart for the Whigs. From right before the 1852 election thinking they were in good shape, to 1854 being clearly obsolete and in 1855 literally going out of business.”

First, the Whigs compromised and erased moral guardrails. Respect for the intrinsic value of human life was “compromised.” Historically the “Great Compromise of 1850” was applauded for its “fairness.” 

Second, violence was urged and justified by a radical element of the Whigs identified as the “Know Nothings.” 

Third, upheavals in political party leadership. History records that prominent members left the Whig Party because of its radicalism. 

Fourth, the Whig Party lost connection with the common citizen. The Whigs removed themselves from being the voice OF the people and became the voice TO the people.

Fifth,...obsessive hatred focused on one person.  The whigs hated Andrew Jackson.... In the 1800’s it was “Old Hickory bad!” and has now morphed to “Orange Man bad!”
