NYTimes: Trump’s Deputies Pick Countries for Pending Visa Ban:
President Donald Trump’s deputies have identified 43 countries whose residents and citizens will likely be denied a visa to enter the United States, according to a report.
Visitors and would-be migrants seeking a visa would be “flatly barred” if they come from a list of “Red” countries, including Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen, theNew York Timesreportedon Friday, citing anonymous sources.
...Most of the countries are likely excluded because they are dominated by Islamic ideology which encourages terrorism against Western countries.
Some of them, however, are likely included in the lists because many of their visitors remain as illegal “overstays” in the United States instead of going home. Some countries are on the list because their government tried to prevent the deportation of their illegal immigrant citizens from the United States.
Notably, the administration is saying it wants to exclude individuals who hate American society.

Meanwhile, Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi warned that his militants will now target Israeli shipping in a desperate attempt to gain leverage. He also declared that all American ships were now banned from entering the Red Sea.

President Donald Trump declared early Monday morning that Joe Biden's pardons are "VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT," suggesting that the former president did not sign them or "know anything about them."
While the potential voidance of Biden's pardons could spell trouble for Anthony Fauci, retired Gen. Mark Milley, members of the Biden clan, and others with troubled pasts, Trump indicated that former members of the HouseJan. 6select committee — including Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), and Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) — are his favorites to reap the whirlwind.

Biden's cognitive decline alone may have been enough to doubt the legal legitimacy of many of the official documents issued in his name and bearing his signature. Suspicions were, however, compounded by reports ofstaffersandfamily membersmaking decisions on his behalf; Biden's alleged admission to House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) that he did not remember signing a consequentialJanuary 2024 orderto pause decisions on exports of liquefied natural gas; and evidence that Biden's signature appeared on documents while he was absent — and in one instance, while on vacation.
In a recent letterdemandingthat the Department of Justice investigate whether "President Biden's cognitive decline allowed unelected staff to push through radical policy without his knowing approval," Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey noted, "It is black-letter law that a document is void, ab initio, when the person signing it lacks mental capacity."
Bailey added, "Staffers and the Vice President cannot constitutionally evade accountability by laundering far-left orders through a man who does not know what he is signing. If in fact this has been occurring, then all those orders are void."
Despite his declaration of voidance, Trump reportedly told reporters Sunday evening, "It's not my decision; that'll be up to a court."

U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak to his Russian counterpart for two hours on Tuesday as they seek an answer to a potential ceasefire in Ukraine.
President Trump is believed to be in conversation with Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin at time of press in a telephone call given two hours of their scheduled days. Per a Kremlin spokesman, the call was due to last from 1300 GMT (0900 U.S. Eastern) up to 1500 (1100).
In principle, all parties at the table in the Ukraine War ceasefire talks — Ukraine, its primary sponsor the U.S., and Russia — have previously stated they wish for peace, but generally with the caveat that it would have to be a peace on their own terms.
The President said part of the discussion would be about “dividing up certain assets”, with “a lot of it already discussed very much by both sides, Ukraine and Russia”. These assets included land and “power plants”, he said, presumably meaning Ukraine’s major fleet of nuclear reactors.
