When we speak of one world united under a one world government, monitory system and one world religion we immediately think of the Satan's agenda for this Earth. But when we realize that Satan is the master imitator of God, we realize that the Lord also has planned the same thing! For in the new Heaven and the new Earth all these will be realized, however with God at it's center. Rather than Satan! Now when the Lord confused the languages of men at the tower of Babel He was merely interrupting what men were proposing to do by their power and will. Both men and Satan are presumptuously trying to dethrone God and enthrone themselves instead! But in fact the new world order is that of Heaven! In Heaven is there not but one religion, one economy and one government, which is the government of God! The unity of God's design and world speaks to the unity of the Trinity and the lovers of God! Satan will offer a cheap imitation of God's world as he knew it, and as it will be! TR Indeed. The Enemy cannot create, only try to imitate. Communism is the twisted expression of trying to create the Millennial Kingdom on earth. It will fail as God's will will be done. This is where the wisdom of men and politics fail. For their vision is skewered and short sighted. Satan would that men follow in his footsteps and make the same mistakes he made. Misery loves company! So then the issue is not with righteousness, peace and joy but rather a matter of who is promising it. And who can truly deliver. TR Yep, satan is a copy cat and desires to be like God. He has a 5 point plan of “I wills” listed in Isaiah 14. Sadly satan currently sits in many churches/meeting places today with all the world’s false religions and his ultimate goal is to have total control of all of man by mid point of the tribulation time. This spiritual battle has been going on from the get go since Adam and Eve were created and the Lord is given man free will to choose eternal life in Him or eternal death in following satan. Satan can only offer a few years of temporary pleasure of this fallen world and sadly many only want that deal. :negative: Matt 25:41 “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:” Isaiah 14:12-15 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Great point TR! I posted a recorded video teaching last week on this site from a teaching I taught last year on essentially the same kind of theme--discerning God's authentic from Satan's counterfeit. I had not seen what you described here before, or I would have used it as one of my pinch-sermon examples.
