‘Frankly, a Very Authoritarian Government’: Labour-Led Britain Suspends Elections, Announces Rollout of China-Style Facial Recognition Cameras:

Left-led UK government follows up attacking Magna Carta and frequent social media arrests by announcing it is yet again postponing elections and moving to introduce a nationwide facial camera recognition system.

Brexit leader Nigel Farage eviscerated the left-wing British government for piling depredations upon depredations on the British people, as they announced yet another postponement of local elections without good reason, on the same day they moved to roll out China-style facial recognition cameras.

Speaking at a Reform Party press conference, Mr Farage said of these “monstrous” changes:

…today’s the day we learn that there will be surveillance cameras not just in our big cities, but literally in every single village. The surveillance state is getting very, very close indeed.

And that, of course, in the same week that we learn the 800-year-right to trial-by-jury is to be abolished in the majority of cases… and of course despite not being in the manifesto, the government want to introduce digital I.D., leaving literally every single one of us in this country open to hackers.

And it is, frankly, a very authoritarian government. It doesn’t really believe in liberty, it doesn’t believe in individual freedom, and we learn it doesn’t really believe in democracy either.

Mr Farage said his strong candidates and party’s sky-high polling had influenced the government’s decision to push the votes far into the future. He said: “there is of course one very big reason why [the government thinks] these elections should not go ahead… that Reform would have won all four of these contests and would have won them quite comfortably. The government are basically committing electoral fraud upon the electorate”.

Germany Signs Off On ‘Not Conscription’ Conscription Plan:

BERLIN (AP) – German lawmakers on Friday approved the government’s plan to attract more military recruits as the country tries to boost the ranks of its armed forces in the face of rising concern about the threat posed by Russia. The plan also foresees mandatory medical checks for young men.

It stops short of reintroducing conscription, though it leaves open the possibility of compulsory service for at least a limited number should the need arise.

Germany has committed billions to improving its military´s equipment after years of neglect and the government has turned its attention to trying to persuade more people to join up.

It´s not alone in trying to bolster its armed forces; last week, France unveiled a program to train thousands of volunteers aged 18 and 19 starting next year. Belgium and Poland also have plans to attract more people to train or serve.

Ten European Union countries have compulsory military service: Austria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden.

Nolte: Number of Americans Who Closely Follow the News Crashes:

In 2016, 51 percent of U.S. adults said they closely followed the news. Today, that number has crashed to 36 percent.

“People in every age group are less likely now than in 2016 to say they follow the news all or most of the time,” writes the far-left Pew Research. “But older Americans remain more likely than younger adults to do so.”

“For example, 62% of adults 65 and older now say they follow the news all or most of the time. That’s down 13 percentage points since 2016,” adds the pollster. “The decline is similar — 12 points — among adults under 30.”

“This decline in Americans’ attention to the news over the years has also occurred across other demographic groups, including education, gender, race, ethnicity and political party.”

Ask yourself: Why would people consume less of something? Well, the answer is the same for anything people consume less of: They no longer find the product helpful, worth their time, appealing, or necessary.

Since 2016, the corporate media has simply burnt people out in all of those categories and accomplished this among every demographic. The  media are not viewed as helpful because they have demonstrably lied. The media are not worth your time because so much of their reporting has been demonstrably inaccurate. The media are not appealing because they treat their audience like fools. The media are not necessary because who needs to be misled?

The legacy media lie, mislead, and lead everyone down their delusional path, and I think people are sick of it — sick of the hate campaigns, the 24/7 outrage over nonsense (like the White House remodeling), and the entire institution turning itself into a sporting event of who’s up, who’s down, and why the home team (Democrats) are the only team decent people cheer. It’s all so manipulative, dishonest, and shallow… It’s all noise without substance, context, or clarity.

Simply put, people are sick of the media, sick of news, and hopefully looking for healthier ways to spend their time.

That makes them active combatants, not “victims.”

And just like that, the Left’s latest hoax, the “double-tap strike” smear campaign, detonated on impact.

Playing God: Bill Gates Pushes Use of Sun-Dimming Technology at ‘Climate Tipping Point’

Heaven save us from billionaires who have a God complex.

In an interview with Axios last month at Caltech, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, who frequently masquerades as a doctor or scientist, admitted that he has funded geoengineering research and that someday the world might need to deploy sun-dimming technology.

Gates said that this deployment should occur only when the planet reaches what Axios called “climate tipping points.”

Sun-dimming would likely involve “injecting sulfuric-acid particles into the upper atmosphere, mimicking the cooling effect of volcanic eruptions,” per Axios.

Set aside for a moment the fact that climate change, at least as a planet-threatening phenomenon, amounts to a scam. Set aside, too, the fact that those who believe most fervently in climate change as an existential crisis already have authoritarian inclinations.

Arrogance aside, what would compel scientists to try and mimic the effects of a volcanic eruption? After all, we already know how that works and what happens afterward.

In April 1815, the violent eruption of Mount Tambora in Indonesia — the largest in recorded history — killed nearly 100,000 people.

Volcanic ash lingered in the atmosphere for so long that contemporaries called 1816 the “Year Without a Summer.”

In other words, Gates and his ilk want to play with forces that, 200 years ago, resulted in food shortages.

Those of us who lived through the COVID nightmare must resolve never again to hand public policy over to the scientific establishment and its deep-pocketed enablers such as Gates.
