AI Fail: Starbucks Abandons AI-Powered Inventory Tool After Only 9 Months:

Starbucks is scrapping an AI-powered inventory management system after less than a year of use, following widespread complaints from employees about inaccurate tracking and frequent errors.

Reuters reports that the coffee giant rolled out its Automated Counting software across North American stores in September 2025, developed in partnership with technology firm NomadGo. The AI-powered tool was designed to streamline inventory tracking by allowing employees to scan shelves using mobile devices, automatically identifying and counting items like milk varieties, syrups, and other supplies.

However, the reality of the system’s performance fell far short of these ambitions. The tool frequently mislabeled products and miscounted inventory items. Employees reported that the system would often confuse similar milk types or skip items entirely during scanning sessions. The problems were significant enough that Starbucks made the decision to discontinue the program after just nine months of operation.

WATCH — Florida Church Sees 2,552 Baptized During Annual ‘Beach Baptism’ Event:

More than 2,500 people were baptized on Sunday during a beach event in Jacksonville, Florida, announcing to the world their decision to follow Jesus Christ.

Those decisions were part of Church Eleven22’s annual mass baptism at Hanna Park where 2,552 were baptized, according to First Coast News.

The church baptized nearly 2,000 people at the same event in 2025 and were overjoyed at the increase in numbers this year.

“One by one, people walked into the water declaring that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior — that the old is gone and new life has come! Because baptism isn’t what saves us, it’s the outward sign of an inward spiritual reality. A symbol that we’ve been united with Jesus in His death and raised to walk in new life,” the church wrote in a social media post.

In addition, Turning Point USA’s Rapid Response also posted aerial video footage taken at the beach that showed crowds lined up to be baptized in the ocean.

“This is what revival looks like,” the caption read.

The Grocery Store Is Becoming a Surveillance Center:

People still think inflation is simply rising costs or supply shortages, but what they fail to understand is that we are entering a completely different phase where prices themselves will become individualized. Two people standing next to each other in the same grocery aisle will eventually pay different prices for the exact same item, not because of shortages, but because the system knows one can be squeezed harder than the other.

This is not science fiction anymore. Grocery chains are rapidly rolling out digital shelf labels, replacing traditional paper price tags with electronic displays connected directly to centralized pricing systems. These labels can change instantly, not overnight, not weekly, but in real time. One report showed stores overseas already changing prices up to 100 times per day. That is where this is heading.

Most people walking through these stores never notice the cameras positioned around the aisles, above checkout lanes, or integrated near the displays themselves. They assume they are there for theft prevention. In reality, these systems are becoming behavioral tracking networks designed to monitor how long you look at a product, what aisles you spend time in, how quickly you make decisions, what brands you repeatedly buy, and increasingly who you are individually.

Grocery stores are already building extensive consumer profiles using purchase histories, browsing activity, online searches, and third-party broker data to infer everything from your economic status to health conditions and family structure. The stores can categorize customers as “not price sensitive” or identify people based on lifestyle and purchasing behavior. Think carefully about what that means once artificial intelligence is connected to dynamic pricing systems.

This is no different from what airlines already do online. Search for a flight repeatedly and suddenly the price rises. Browse hotels from a wealthy zip code and the rates increase.

This is where all of this leads eventually. The wealthy will quietly pay more because the system knows they can. The middle class will be squeezed algorithmically. People under financial stress may receive temporary discounts designed to maximize spending while preserving dependency.

The public will not fully understand what has happened until the day two people compare receipts and realize the machine decided one of them deserved to pay more simply because the algorithm determined they could afford it.

Wuhan Factory Accused of Poisoning Villagers with Cancer-Causing Chemicals:

The government of the now-infamous city of Wuhan, China, is reportedly investigating a sodium silicate factory for dumping toxic chemicals into the water and soil of a village called Huangtupo, allegedly producing a massive spike in cancer and leukemia among the villagers.

The Chinese Communist regime has a long history of covering up industrial and pharmaceutical disasters for as long as possible, relenting and promising investigations only when public outrage reaches dangerous levels.

The surge of cancer cases coincides with the village obtaining tap water for the first time in 2016. Before that, the villagers relied on fetching their own groundwater.

Huangtupo residents told reporters that a drainage ditch running from the factory carries wastewater that is the color of soy sauce. Plants and fish died wherever this discolored water flowed, as did cats who ate the contaminated fish, and crops irrigated with the tainted water were “abnormal.”

According to Chinese media reports, the factory was ordered to close years ago but continued operating in secret. The villagers began filing complaints in April 2022, but no action has been taken against the factory until now.

Newsom Declares State of Emergency in Orange County as Experts Warn Chemical Tank Could Explode – Firefighters Find Crack in Tank:

California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) declared a state of emergency on Saturday evening as experts warned that the chemical tank that is overheating in Orange County could explode.

40,000 residents in Orange County, California, were evacuated on Friday amid a chemical leak at an aerospace facility.

On Thursday, a valve overheated on a 34,000-gallon tank used to make plastics.

Authorities said the tank, located in Garden Grove, could either explode or spill thousands of gallons of toxic chemicals.

Several evacuation centers were opened; however, many residents are still refusing to leave their homes.
