American-born Olympic freestyle skier Eileen Gu, who competes for China, reportedly received millions in funding from the Chinese government, according to a recent report. The Wall Street Journal reported that in 2025 “a public budget” showed that “the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau was set to pay Gu” and Zhu Yi — a U.S.-born figure skater, “a combined $6.6 million.” The money from the Chinese government to Gu comes as she is “already one of the highest paid female athletes in the world,” according to the outlet. Breitbart News’s Warner Todd Huston reported in January that in an interview with TIME, Gu, who is a “two-time gold medalist” defended her decision to compete for China, stating that “the U.S. already has the representation.” Parents across the country are finally starting to speak out to oppose the teachers and administrators who are leading kids out of school grounds to participate in violent anti-ICE protests. One parent has gone viral for his reaction after a school forced his child to attend an anti-ICE protest. He recorded a video claiming that his kid is being expelled because he posted a video complaining about the teacher-led protests. A parent of a kid in Washington State is seen on video pulling her daughter out of school over a school-approved protest rally and confronting school officials over the protests. Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae, fresh off an astounding victory in snap elections for the lower house of parliament last week, said on Monday she would like to reopen discussions about amending the Japanese Constitution through a national referendum. ...Takaichi Sanae... became Japan’s first female prime minister in October 2025. LDP’s two major amendment proposals are establishing the constitutional status of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces (JSDF) and extending terms for lawmakers during national emergencies. The JSDF, which was established in 1954, is not mentioned in the current constitution, which was written in 1946. This leaves the Japanese military with an uncertain legal status, especially since Article 9 of the constitution “renounces war” and forbids Japan from maintaining land, sea, or air forces. Conservatives like Takaichi believe that Japan can only be secure if potential adversaries know it can project military power, instead of just passively waiting for enemies to violate the airspace of the home islands. China went berserk in November when the newly-elected Prime Minister Takaichi said her country would regard an attack on Taiwan as a “situation threatening Japan’s survival” – the magic words that would legally allow the JSDF to act in Taiwan’s defense if China invades. The upper house of parliament is significantly less enthusiastic about amending the constitution. The next upper house election is scheduled for 2028, and Japanese officials say it is unlikely a constitutional amendment could be passed before then. The Financial Times reports that Mustafa Suleyman, who leads Microsoft’s AI division, has made a bold prediction about the near-term impact of AI on white-collar professions. In an interview with the Times published this week, Suleyman stated that he expects most, if not all, tasks performed by white-collar workers will be fully automated by AI within the next 12 to 18 months. Suleyman said in the interview. “So white-collar work, where you’re sitting down at a computer, either being a lawyer or an accountant or a project manager or a marketing person — most of those tasks will be fully automated by an AI within the next 12 to 18 months.” Breitbart News previously reported that Microsoft has integrated AI into Windows without fully understanding the security risks this creates: Security concerns stem from known defects inherent in most large language models (LLMs), including Copilot. Researchers have repeatedly demonstrated that LLMs can provide factually erroneous and illogical answers, a behavior known as “hallucinations.” This means users cannot fully trust the output of AI assistants like Copilot, Gemini, or Claude, and must independently verify the information. Another significant issue with LLMs is their vulnerability to prompt injections. Hackers can exploit this flaw by planting malicious instructions in websites, resumes, and emails, which the AI eagerly follows without discerning between valid user prompts and untrusted, third-party content. These vulnerabilities can lead to data exfiltration, malicious code execution, and cryptocurrency theft. Suleyman’s prediction adds his voice to a growing number of AI industry leaders who have warned about the potential for widespread job displacement due to artificial intelligence. Stuart Russell, a prominent computer scientist who co-authored one of the most authoritative textbooks on AI, stated in an interview last year that political leaders are confronting the possibility of 80 percent unemployment driven by AI. Russell suggested that positions ranging from surgeons to chief executives could be at risk of replacement. The civil rights activist Jesse Jackson has died aged 84.. A former aide to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Jackson founded the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and was a fixture in American politics for over six decades. In a statement on Tuesday morning, Jackson’s family said he had died “peacefully” with his family by his side. Their statement read: It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Civil Rights leader and founder of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, the Honorable Reverend Jesse Louis Jackson, Sr. He died peacefully on Tuesday morning, surrounded by his family. His unwavering commitment to justice, equality, and human rights helped shape a global movement for freedom and dignity. A tireless change agent, he elevated the voices of the voiceless from his Presidential campaigns in the 1980s to mobilising millions to register to vote – leaving an indelible mark on history. While a specific cause of death was not immediately released, Jackson had been battling Parkinson’s disease since 2017 and was recently diagnosed with progressive supranuclear palsy, a degenerative neurological disorder. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2026/02/breaking-civil-rights-leader-jesse-jackson-dies-aged/ Communist China Reportedly Paid US-Born Olympic Skier Eileen Gu This Enormous Amount in 2025:
