Is America Becoming An Anti-Christ Nation?

Once upon a time, America was a Christian nation.  I know that many on the left cringe when they read a statement like that, but it is true.  For most of our history, the population of the United States was overwhelmingly Christian, and the values that governed our society were primarily Christian values.  But of course everything has changed in recent decades.  When Barack Obama boldly declared that “we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation” in 2009, he was speaking the truth.  We are no longer a Christian nation and we haven’t been for a very long time.  So if we aren’t a Christian nation at this point, what exactly are we?

About 64% of Americans call themselves Christian today. That might sound like a lot, but 50 years ago that number was 90%, according to a 2020 Pew Research Center study. That same survey said the Christian majority in the US may disappear by 2070.

If nearly two-thirds of your people consider themselves to be “Christians”, that would seem to indicate that you are a Christian nation.  But we obviously aren’t.  Just look around.

Many of the signs and symbols and messages that we see all around us are overtly anti-Christian.  Ultimately, there are lots of Americans that still identify themselves as “Christians” even though they have completely abandoned everything that Christianity represents.

Joe Biden is a perfect example.  He says that he is a “Christian” and he attends church regularly. 

But then the rest of the time he is working very hard against virtually everything that  the Bible teaches.

Of course, he is far from alone.

According to George Barna, 6 percent of Americans had a “biblical worldview” in 2020, and by 2023 that figure had dropped to just 4 percent…

I think that the term “world citizen” perfectly describes most people these days.

Sadly, on at least some level the vast majority of the population has embraced the new values that are constantly being pushed on us by the Western elite.

And this is clearly showing up in the poll numbers.  Survey after survey has shown that close to two-thirds of the U.S. population disapproves of the Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade.  That doesn’t make any sense at all.

According to a Gallup survey that was conducted last year, 71 percent of the population approves of gay marriage, and a Gallup survey that was conducted earlier this year discovered that 22.3 percent of Generation Z adults now identify as LGBTQ+…

Jesus said that you would know a tree by the fruit that it produces.  Needless to say, the fruit that America is producing is not Christian fruit.  In fact, most of the fruit that America is producing is the kind of fruit that we would expect from an anti-Christ nation.

America needs to change course while there is still an opportunity to do so, and the clock is ticking…

During The Great Depression They Were Called “Hoovervilles”, But Today America’s Shantytowns Are Called “Bidenvilles”:

To those at the bottom of America’s economic pyramid, it feels like the economy has already collapsed.  When you can’t afford to put a roof over your head and you barely have enough food to eat, nothing else really matters.  During the Great Depression of the 1930s, millions of homeless Americans created large shantytowns known as “Hoovervilles” all over America.  Unfortunately, we are witnessing the same thing today.  Our homeless population is rapidly exploding, and those that have nowhere to live are creating shelters for themselves out of wood, cardboard boxes, tents, tarps, construction materials and whatever else they can find.  In some cases, very large shantytown communities are being established, and they are primarily populated by our young adults…

During the Great Depression (1929 to 1933), 48 percent of the nation was homeless, living with relatives or in “shantytowns,” “Hoovervilles.”  Today, between 47 and 52 percent of young adults are homeless, living with parents or shelters, a direct result of Biden’s radical overspending, energy and immigration policies, inflation, and high interest, turning America into a giant “Bidenville.”

One “Bidenville” that has been getting a lot of attention recently is located in  Oakland, California.

A video of that “Bidenville” that was posted on social media on May 31st shows “massive temporary houses built along service roads”…

Shocking footage has emerged showing a gigantic ‘shantytown’ that has sprung up in  Oakland, as the California city’s slide into crime-ravaged squalor continues.

Michael Oxford, the host of CaliBased, posted a video on May 31 of massive temporary houses built along service roads that open up into main roads in Hooverville, Oakland.

The footage showed trash strewn around scores of houses that were built of wood, tarp and other discarded materials.

I write about this stuff all the time, but it is still hard to believe that so many people are living in third-world conditions in the United States of America in 2024.

The man that shot the video, Michael Oxford, used the term “absolute squalor” to describe the conditions that he witnessed…

If you live in “wealthy America”, you may never even drive into areas where people are living like this.  Your reality may be filled with tree-lined streets and rich people sipping coffee.

But in the worst areas of  Oakland, the lawlessness never ends.

In fact, authorities in Oakland recently removed traffic lights at one major intersection and replaced them with stop signs because thieves were constantly stealing copper wire from the electrical boxes…

If you want someone to blame for this mess, you can blame the politicians in Washington.

Thanks to the horrific inflation that they have created, approximately a quarter of the population in California is either living in poverty or is very close to living in poverty…

Sadly, this is just the beginning, because our economy is going downhill really fast.

In May, pending home sales plunged to a depressingly low level…

... Zero Hedge reported that the Chicago PMI index fell so low in May that it suggested that “the economy is in a depression”…

When people have nothing left to lose, they become very desperate, and very desperate people do very desperate things.

French President Macron To Announce: "Europe is at war with Russia" on June 6:

June 6 will be a landmark day for the whole of Europe. France will officially make the first announcement of sending military personnel from a European/NATO state to Ukrainian territory.

The Ukrainian president, Zelensy, whose legal term of Office is expired since May 21, is to attend commemorations for the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy (WW2)  on June 6, French President Emmanuel Macron said.

Macron confirmed Zelensky's visit to France next week while speaking to reporters.

"I will have the opportunity, when President Zelensky goes to France next week for Normandy Landing Day ceremonies, to welcome him and then discuss very clearly what we are going to do to support Ukraine."

According to international media, Macron will choose - not by chance - June 6 in order to announce in front of other Western leaders the mission of French soldiers to Ukraine who will shoulder the responsibility of "training"  Kiev!

This is the first such announcement by a leader of a Western country, in another sign of escalation in Ukraine and the Russia-NATO war.

Will it be trainers only? Of course not. It is only the first step on the road to open Europe-Russia war. The French Brigade in Odessa will follow, as will NATO forces in western Ukraine, etc.

Pride And Moral Independence: Why The World Is Not Heeding The Warning Of God’s Wrath:

As we inch closer and closer to the time when Jesus will call us home, it is not only our anticipation which grows, but also the urgency we feel in warning others of the wrath to fall upon this earth in the form of the Tribulation Period.  There are many wonderful remnant ministries throughout the world who are labouring fervently, expending time, money and effort to comfort the saints and warn the sinners.  But are the unsaved listening?

One of the major reasons the unsaved are not listening is because they do not believe they are inherently bad and worthy of eternal punishment.  But herein lies the problem.  It all comes down to the fact that most people mistakenly think they are “good people”.  What that term really means, nobody can sufficiently explain.  It is, for the most part, highly subjective.  We have courts, we have politicians and police and gossip magazines and even ordinary people who say it is their right to tell you who is good and bad, but ultimately God is the Judge.  The point is, many people consider themselves good, but they are measuring themselves against others who are worse.  The true indicator is to measure yourself against those who are better.  And we know there is none better than the God-Man, Jesus Christ.  And when we measure ourselves against Him, there is none good – not even one.

Another reason the unsaved are not listening is due to the fact that they want moral independence from God.  They refuse to bend the knee to God and accept His authority over their lives.  At the heart of this belief is pride.  Psalm 10:4 says:  “The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts.”  Anyone who is active in our community can see that this age seems to be the age in which people boast about their sins.  On the internet, in the news, even on the footpath people are openly parading their sins in front of others and boasting of them – all in the name of pride and moral independence. 

But herein lies a warning.  Proverbs 16:5 says:  “Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; though they join forces, none will go unpunished.”

In this age, the proud, the wicked, and the arrogant have joined forces against the Most High God.  They thumb their nose at God and arrogantly proclaim that He either doesn’t exist or doesn’t care about the wicked fruit they produce throughout the Earth.  

The final reason that the unsaved aren’t listening is because they don’t believe God is watching.  Psalm 10:8-11 says: “He sits in the lurking places of the villages; in the secret places he murders the innocent; his eyes are secretly fixed on the helpless.  He lies in wait secretly, as a lion in his den; he lies in wait to catch the poor; he catches the poor when he draws him into his net.  So he crouches, he lies low, that the helpless may fall by his strength.  He has said in his heart, ‘God has forgotten; He hides His face; He will never see.'”  Yes, it is a sad fact of this age that the wicked do not believe God records their sin and will judge them for it. 

Mark Twain once said:  “Some people are troubled by the things in the Bible they can’t understand.  The things that trouble me are the things I can understand.” And dear reader, what is very plain from the Bible is that there are two choices.  You can accept Christ as your Saviour or you can reject Christ as your Saviour.  God has given everybody free will and you are well within your rights to freely choose either path.  As C S Lewis famously said, “There are two kinds of people in the end.  Those who say to God, ‘Thy will be done’, and those to whom God says, ‘thy will be done.’”

Kim Jong Un Oversees Massive Missile Launch 'Preemptive Attack' Drills:

A day after sending hundreds of feces and garbage-filled balloons into South Korea over the militarized border, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un oversaw a new military exercise showcasing the North's ability to mount "preemptive attacks."

North Korean media released several photos as well as footage of choreographed launches of at least eighteen short-range ballistic missiles from the Sunan area on Friday.

The projectiles reportedly fell into the Sea of Japan after going a distance of over 200 miles. 

State media said this "salvo of a firepower sub-unit was carried out by operating the integrated fire-control system," which was described as "a part of the national combined nuclear weapons management system."

This appears an ongoing response by Pyongyang to the US-South Korea drills that began on May 27, involving over 90 aircraft, among them the advanced F35A stealth fighters.

The North’s official Korean Central News Agency reported that the rocket firing drills were meant to demonstrate North Korea’s resolve not to hesitate in launching a preemptive strike on South Korea if threatened. It cited Kim as saying that the drills “will serve as an occasion in clearly showing what consequences our rivals will face if they provoke us.”

The government of South Korea called on the north to North Korea must stop the "absurd, irrational provocations directed at us" or face unspecified "unbearable" consequences.
