As I have shared here before, one of the things that the Lord has put on my heart over the past few years is to rewrite lyrics from some popular secular songs to convert them to songs of praise and intercession, which I then use to sing over cars passing by when I’m out on the corner with my rapture warning sign. Recently, the melody from Don Henley’s “The End of the Innocence” has been on my mind. I took a run at the lyrics a while back, but it just did not seem to work. But today, the Lord put it on my heart to rewrite the lyrics as a song of lament over the death of the USA. This is different than anything I have sensed His leading in for all the other songs I have rewritten. (Disclaimer: As always, no implied endorsement of the people or lifestyle of those whose songs I rewrite.) In my almost 60 years of life on this planet as an American , we have gone from a blessed, comparatively carefree nation in the 50’s to the mess we are in today. Our country, as we have known it, is dying before our eyes. Individuals can still be saved, but I believe I have a sense in my spirit from the Lord that we have gone beyond the point of no return as a nation. Two days ago, I had a short dream. I saw Trump was assassinated. Those who stood behind him were not immune from the spray of bullets. From my dream it actually gives me the timing and the place of this event. But dream comes and goes, Not sure if this one has any significance. That said, we must move on. Geri7 is right. There's a far better place awaiting. Truly sad that so many sacrificed here and abroad for this nation. It is always difficult to leave the familiar and cherished things we have grown fond of. But what awaits us and those who had no USA to grow up in, is far better! In the dream I had on this Monday, I saw Trump laying flowers in a public cemetery, looks like Arlington cemetery. There was bullets flying at him from his front. Those who stood behind him were not immune from this spray of bullets. US President always lays flower in Arlington cemetery on Memorial day and Veteran day. I got my dream on Monday which was Memorial Day in US. Next time Trump lays flowers in Arlington cemetery is on Veteran Day November 11. If my dream has any merit, it points to the assassination occurs on November 11 this year, one week after US election. To be more precise, I had the dream around 7:30 am my local time Pacific time. At the same time of my dream, I believe Trump was laying flowers in front of Arlington cemetery. What a coincidence and the timing of my dream is incredible!!! Trump was laying flowers in Arlington cemetery, and the dream appeared to me!!! But like I said, dreams come and go. This one may have no difference at all, and it goes away without any significant event happen on November 11 this year. People should be more cautious reading into my dream. It is just a dream. And I am not claiming this dream is from God.

But this is not my. Home, have to let go, it is so sad to see this happening and thinking of all those who fought for the freedoms that are gone. We need to leave! :prayer-hands:
