Feeling pretty sheepish now about starting this post, considering my "Never Give Up" position.  I finally gave up just this evening.  This very old post started way back a month ago.  The self-deprecating word "fool" comes to mind.  Anyone here got any crow I can eat?

Pouring salt on my wound: as of today I have no more expected Deal of the Century triggers -- due to the Israel re-elections just announced for Mid September.  Hmmmm!.  Don't wanna' go there now, lost hope, so I'm ditching my Kushner cushion.

S'pose God actually has different plans from those I've carefully, scientifically, and exegetically dreamed up?  Do ya' really s'pose, boys and girls???

In order to transition back to the reality of living in this world I have just launched an emergency personal advisory.  It reads, "Stop expecting dates, Dan, and for pity's sake stop believing your own press releases.  Just wait!  Enjoy your summer!"

Oh don’t give up ... keep watching and stay alert ... the rapture can still happen this summer!

In regards to ....

“Israeli elections rerun looms as Netanyahu talks falter”

Savedat33 encouraged me when she posted ....  “This is a little tidbit of news hidden away... eyebrow raising given everything that is going on in the world and... has anyone else noticed that a lot of governments of the world are all at a moment of upheaval and transition?  Seems like the whole world is wanting a “change”. Our time here on the earth is very short.”

- Fair use-

I responded with
Yeah I was kind of wondering about this latest turmoil in Israeli politics.  I hope this doesn’t push the peace and safety agreement speech to Sept ...  Interesting point you mentioned about other countries going through upheaval and transition right now. I was surprised to read Theresa May is stepping down.  Perhaps everything hast to be chaotic so when the AC comes on the scene ... they will really embrace him.

Then in the...

Iranian Speaker Raps Western Plot against Palestine” article

Savedat33 said .... “The title of the conference in Bahrain in which the “first” half of the “peace deal” will be released is being called “Peace to Prosperity” - maybe I’m just really eager to go home, but doesn’t that just sound like it could have prophetic implications? Also of very interesting note the two Arab countries that have said they will attend are: Saudi Arabia (Sheba and Dedan) and the UAE (Merchants of Tarshish)  ...

So, the two non-aggressive Arab groups mentioned in Ezekiel 38, that inquire of the attackers if they are attacking to “take a spoil” at a “peace conference” focused on economic backing for said peace deal...meanwhile, Iran is taking this time to threaten Israel and call for something to “stop” the peace plan... Hmm, sounds a LOT like time is almost up”

MyWhiteStone, don't feel like you have to eat crow and be called a fool. We love to have high watch dates, even when they come and go. It keeps us all on our toes, ever hopeful and anticipating, and searching the scriptures. We are a family and here to encourage each other. Don't feel silly to bring forth an idea and get our input. Goodness, if I stopped posting my speculations or thoughts because I did not want to seem foolish, well, I would have to just lurk - and we don't want that - we want stimulating conversation. We (I hope I speak rightly for all RITAN) don't judge you harshly for an incorrect date. Thank you for showing us your research and getting us revved up... some of us (myself especially) need a "jolt" from time to time; especially when we are so very weary in spirit.

You're so redeeming, YHWHTalmidah.      Thanks for mercy toward this codger.  Actually a lot of what I wrote, maybe all of it, was intended as mild humor.  The self-flagellation (name calling / crow ingestion) is not really heart felt.  Yet the years of slipped-away predicted high watch dates do damage my pride a bit and have tanked my credibility.  Maybe I've finally learned.

Anyway, thanks again.  Oh, and if pride goes before a fall, maybe the Rapture will go before a summer.

Dan

MyWhiteStone, you are not a fool by any stretch of the imagination. We are all finite creations of an infinite and loving Father. You have a glorious gift to understand God’s numbers. Please keep us on our toes with high watch dates.

For me — It is like waiting for Christmas as a child, you thought it would never come and with us, the date may come and go but Christmas is still just around the corner. Or like the expectant mom, the baby will come and you know it’s getting close because all the signs are there, but by the time that ninth month rolls around and you feel like the size of a barn, your back hurts, everything hurts truly. The struggle just to get up is ever difficult and then it happens, you go into labor...the baby arrives! So too, we are in that ninety month and it is most weary, but keep watching because the Shofar will blow and we will be caught up! So quickly! :prayer-hands:  :yahoo:

Had a weird dream last night, nothing epic.  But I walked away thinking there was a teaching in it.  Probably just for me.

The last thing I remember was that I walked away with a phrase of:  One in Seven!

I was looking at 7 stories of cement staircases and even though they were all very similar, I kept being told that one was different.  I felt that I was to look for the difference and then the term one in seven kept repeating in my mind.

I thought of the 7 Feast Days, all similar and all dedicated to the Lord.  But then realized that Pentecost was for the Church specifically!

Not saying it was from the Lord, just saying!

It is the "middle of the menorah"... the middle feast... the "valley" between peaks... It makes sense that the Holy Spirit would be called back on the same day He was sent... always hopeful. I'm watching the next two weeks extra close.
