My Personal "Confirmation" (for lack of a better word)

Good morning family, This is something that I have been hesitant to put down in words. Mainly because the years of watching has made me a hard core skeptic and also because I did NOT want to have any part of destroying anyone's faith or joy in the event that my words prove erroneous. However, given the tsunami of information coming out these last couple of weeks, coupled with what is going on with Israel, I can no longer ignore the facts on the ground. I feel moved to do this. So this "confirmation" came to me in two parts spanning approximately 13 years. Please bear with me as I try to delineate the events. Part 1: Sometime in 2011, I was undergoing a spiritual rebirth. I had just emerged from a very low point and had rededicated my faith in Jesus. I was heavy into the Word, praying, and fasting. I had been so terrified of Jesus' warning against false prophets that I prayed earnestly that he would protect me and only give me the Truth. So for about a year after this, I had gone on the most amazing journey through God's Word. It was impressed on my by the Spirit several key points. Just a few (certainly nowhere near a complete list) of these points were 1) God's word is literal and complete, 2) Nothing outside His Word is needed to understand the Bible, 3) Creation was a literal 6 day event, 4) There will be a pre-tribulation rapture of the Church.... I say these points so you will understand my angle. I had basically started my whole understanding over with a clean canvas and would let the Spirit paint the picture for me. Anyway, one day while reading through Revelation, I had asked the Holy Spirit for guidance on the rapture event. I had inquired if it was to take place on the Feast of Trumpets or not. I was literally moved to "turn the page" and read. I was taken to Revelation 4:1 where Jesus' voice is likened to a trumpet. Then everything that I had learned upto that point just fell into place. Everything that Paul had revealed in his epistles, this in Revelation, everything hit me at once and I became convinced that FoT was the day. As they say, "when you know, you know". Part 2: Part 2 came to me at sometime late spring/early summer 2024. I don't know how to describe this event. Call it a vision, a premonition, whatever. I am just going to call it a vision as it is as crystal clear to me this day as it was when it happened. I can still "see" it. I live outside of Washington DC. I was driving home from work on the "Capital Beltway". I can still pinpoint where everything took place. Anyway, I was driving along and all of a sudden, I had this overwhelming feeling that I had done this before (but I know I hadn't). This "vision" came to me that I was driving home in this very spot and I had just learned that I had lost my job. It was impressed on me in this vision that when this event happened, that I was to know that the rapture was "very near". Just as fast as it started, it was over. So I kept this vision to myself. I didn't know what to make of it. July of 2024 rolled around and my group at work had learned that our customer had approved a new year of contract work for us so we were good for another year of work. So at this point, the vision was just an unexplained feeling. October 2024 rolled around and we had an emergency meeting at work and learned that our customer had drastically reduced our workload and that several of us would have to be let go from our company. At this point, i perked up a bit thinking that "this was it". However, we were past FoT and in the end, my job was not lost. Bummer, I know. How many people pray to lose their job? {ritan-emojis}:wacko: To give a bit of a background before I move on, the contract cut I had just disclosed also happened in October of 2023 as well. I work as a government contractor and these sorts of things happen all the time and a lot of them do happen in the late October timeframe because that's when new budgets go into effect. Ok, so for the grand finale. This past July (2025) rolled around and once again we were assured that we were safe in our position. I wasn't believing it at this point because our program was slowly dying and was on life support. I was expecting another round of cuts in Oct. Unfortunately, for me anyway, that was well past FoT yet again. I didn't really think much of it. Then, suddenly on August 18th, my boss walks into my office to let me know that they are having another round of reductions and this time my job was cut. My last day would be on September 15th. So my last day would be a week or so BEFORE FoT this year!! Then everything fell into place with the vision and the timing of everything. The timing of this job loss is highly, highly unusual (but with God, it all makes sense). We technically had the money obligated to our program to run until Oct so how or why the cut was announced early makes no sense. But it does make perfect sense if God made it happen. Revelation 3:3

3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

The inverse of this would read “If thou shalt watch, thou shalt know what hour I will come upon thee”. Yes

And those holier than thous don't bother to learn that no man knows the day or hour is an idiom for Feast of Trumpets because they have to wait for two people to confirm the sighting of the moon.
