Maybe we need to be asking ourselves, “What doesn’t the resident and his pals want Israel to uncover in Rafah?” Amir Tsarfati: On June 22 1982, Joe Biden was a Senator from Delaware and confronted then Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin during his Senate Foreign Relations committee testimony, threatening to cut off aid to Israel. Menachem Begin replied: “Don’t threaten us with cutting off your aid. It will not work. I am not a Jew with trembling knees. I am a proud Jew with 3,700 years of civilized history. Nobody came to our aid when we were dying in the gas chambers and ovens. Nobody came to our aid when we were striving to create our country. We paid for it. We fought for it. We died for it. We will stand by our principles. We will defend them. And, when necessary, we will die for them again, with or without your aid.” From Amir Tsarfati's weekly e-mail newsletter: U.S. / Israel Relations: Israel is no one’s lap dog – not even that of the most powerful nation on earth. At the Yad Vashem ceremony for Yom HaShoah on Sunday evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made Israel’s position very clear. He said, “From here in Jerusalem, I am sending a very clear-cut message: You will not chain our hands, and even if Israel has to stand alone, it will stand alone and will continue to fight our enemies until victory.” King David said it a little differently several millennia ago, “Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the LORD our God” (Psalm 20:6-7). ... I think “broken reed” is an apt description of this current U.S. administration’s policies, considering its multiple failures: War in Rafah: There was a big scuttle about Hamas supposedly accepting a CIA/Qatari proffered deal on Tuesday. It turns out it was just another attempt to make Israel look bad. Hamas never accepted a plan. Instead, they offered their own plan which centered around releasing the bodies of dead hostages. They are on the brink of defeat, and the only chance they have is if an international coalition of statesmen gives them victory. There are plenty in Washington and other international capitals who are anxious to do just that. War in the North: Protests: Still, there were those universities that caved to student pressure. Brown, Northwestern, and the University of Minnesota were just a few that claimed to have reached an agreement with protesters to reconsider their continuation of investments in Israel. Successful terrorism breeds more terrorism. It’s true on university campuses, and it’s true in Gaza. They that be with Israel are more than they that be with Hamas. Or any sleazy US politicians either, most likely. President Joe Biden’s decision to withhold bombs from Israel will cause more Israeli soldiers to die in booby-trapped buildings that would otherwise have been destroyed from the air, according to a military source in Israel. As Breitbart News reported, the Biden administration confirmed this week that it had withheld 2,500-lb. and 500-lb. bombs, and would also withhold artillery rounds, in opposition to Israel’s decision to attack Hamas’s last stronghold in Rafah. Israel, which views the defeat of Hamas in Rafah as a military necessity, has decided to continue its operation. But in order to avoid antagonizing Biden, or running out of bombs, Israel will have to send soldiers directly into buildings. “Everything is rigged to blow [in Rafah],” a military source said. “We are being engaged in numerous buildings, and tunnels rigged in a manner we have not yet encountered. Hamas is organized, and was waiting ready for the IDF to enter Rafah.” Hamas had plenty of time to prepare, after Biden’s opposition forced Israel to delay an operation in Rafah for three months. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) practice in Gaza has often been to identify buildings where Hamas has hidden, warn residents to leave, then bomb the buildings. Dozens of soldiers died earlier in the war in booby-trapped buildings. The IDF is prepared for a slow, methodical campaign in Rafah. But that also means Israel will have to accept a higher number of military casualties than it otherwise would have. And it means many Israelis are angry at President Biden. A lot of blood on puppet Biden's hands. 😡 The United Nations General Assembly on Friday overwhelmingly passed a resolution asking the U.N. Security Council (UNSC) to reconsider granting full membership to the Palestinians – a move that would constitute de facto U.N. recognition of Palestinian statehood. The General Assembly resolution, which is non-binding, passed with 143 nations in support, nine against, and 25 abstentions. The United States and Israel were among the nine votes against. The resolution declared that the Palestinians meet all the requirements for membership, and that therefore the UNSC should “reconsider the matter favorably.” The General Assembly cannot confer full membership on its own, but the resolution did bestow some privileges upon the Palestinians, including a non-voting seat among member nations in the U.N. Assembly hall. The final draft of the resolution was carefully rewritten at the behest of China and Russia so that it could not be used as a precedent by people those murderous regimes are oppressing, such as Taiwan. It also had to be tailored to avoid triggering a U.S. law that would cut off funding for the United Nations if it recognized statehood for an organization that does not meet the requirements for such a designation. The Security Council considered granting membership to the Palestinians in April, but the United States used its veto power to block the move, though the Biden administration had dropped some hints that it might not use its veto because it had grown displeased with Israel’s conduct of the Gaza war. The U.S. partially justified its veto by noting there are “unresolved questions as to whether the applicant meets the criteria to be considered a State” – a point the General Assembly seemed to be addressing on Friday by insisting the Palestinians do meet those conditions. Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, furiously denounced the General Assembly vote on Friday as an “immoral act” and a violation of the U.N. Charter. He fed a printed copy of the charter into a paper shredder as he spoke to emphasize his point. Erdan said the U.N. was trying to allow a “terror state” into its ranks, led by Hamas, the “Hitlers of our time.” “It is during our sacred week that this shameless body has chosen to reward modern-day Nazis with rights and privileges?” he asked incredulously, referring to Israel’s Holocaust Remembrance observance, Yom HaShoah. “You are about to grant privileges and rights to the future terrorist state of Hamas. You have opened the U.N. to modern-day Nazis, to genocidal jihadists committed to establishing an Islamic state against Israel and the region… It makes me sick,” he said. “This day will go down in infamy,” Erdan declared. U.S. President Joe Biden delayed revealing that he ordered an arms shipment to Israel be paused last week until after he delivered a Holocaust remembrance day address at the U.S. Capitol, the Associated Press reported. “What is so egregiously offensive is that Biden thought that his antisemitism and Holocaust speech would make his abandonment of Israel more tolerable,” wrote Mark Dubowitz, CEO of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin confirmed in congressional testimony on Wednesday that the Biden administration paused a “shipment of high payload munitions” to Israel, amid objections from Washington to a proposed Israeli ground operation against Hamas in the southern Gaza city of Rafah. Biden told CNN in an interview on Wednesday that he would cut off American-supplied munitions to Israel if it went into Rafah. “I made it clear that if they go into Rafah—they haven’t gone in Rafah yet—if they go into Rafah, I’m not supplying the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah, to deal with the cities—that deal with that problem,” Biden said. The paused arms shipment was first reported on Sunday, but the AP reported that the National Security Council sought to keep the news from the public “until it had a better understanding of the scope of Israel’s intensified military operations in Rafah and until Biden could deliver a long-planned speech on Tuesday to mark Holocaust Remembrance Day.” During that speech, Biden repeated his claim that his support for Israel’s security was “ironclad.” “We stand by allies. We don’t second guess them,” Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) wrote. “Biden’s dithering on Israel weapons is bad policy and a terrible message to Israel, our allies and the world.” “As the leader of the free world, America cannot claim that its commitment to Israel is ‘iron-clad’ and then proceed to withhold aid from Israel,” wrote Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-N.Y.). “The mixed messaging makes a mockery of our credibility as an ally. No one will take our word seriously.” “How in the hell do you criticize Israel for being imprecise in its bombing and then refuse to deliver them what they’re willing to pay for to make the bombs precise?” Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) told Jewish Insider after Biden’s interview. “The Biden decision to halt weapons transfer to Israel over Rafah was made some time ago. But Biden didn’t announce [it] before, because he didn’t want it to get in [the] way of his big Holocaust Remembrance Day speech,” wrote Arsen Ostrovsky, the CEO of the International Legal Forum. “This is just below contempt. Unconscionable. Inexcusable.” Biden’s Reckless Betrayal Of Benjamin Netanyahu And The Jewish People: I’ve known for many years that the time would come when the United States would no longer defend Israel. The Gog/Magog prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39 is remarkable for its absence of any nation, including America, coming to the aid of Israel as massive forces invade the Land. I could never have imagined, however, that a U.S. President would choose to protect an organization so barbaric and monstrous as Hamas at the expense of Israel. The Biden administration is currently refusing to ship weapons to the nation unless it relents from its intent to invade Rafah, the last stronghold of Hamas. He seems to have forgotten the horrors of October 7, 2023, and how the Gazans rejoiced following the brutal and murderous attack on Israel. Not only did Hamas kill well over a thousand Israelis last October, but they also slaughtered many people from other nations, including those from the U.S. Demonic is the only way to describe the viciousness of that attack. It gets worse. In his article, Biden Risks American Lives to Protect Hamas, journalist Daniel Greenfield wrote the following: Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin recently admitted at a congressional hearing that American soldiers operating Biden’s disastrous “aid pier” for Gaza could come under attack from Islamic terrorists. Biden has not sent a single soldier to recover American hostages being held by Hamas, but there are now soldiers in the line of fire in order to send aid to Gaza. Why is President Biden risking the lives of US soldiers in such a way? Will they interfere with Israeli forces when they enter Rafah? Some fear it will bring the two sides into direct conflict. The Biden administration is pursuing anti-Semitic policies that will surely bring God’s judgment upon the U.S. Is it any wonder why there’s no mention of America in Bible prophecy? Please know that God will severely judge those that are now seeking to divide His Land (Joel 3:1-3). The fact that we are seeing all this develop in our day shouts that we live in biblical times. For those of us who know Jesus as our Savior, there’s good news in the midst of a world that’s gone crazy. Jesus is coming again and it’s likely to happen in the near future. https://harbingersdaily.com/bidens-reckless-betrayal-of-benjamin-netanyahu-and-the-jewish-people/ Amir Tsarfati: Sunday Evening Marks the Beginning of Memorial Day in Israel (Yom HaZikaron). Beginning Sunday evening, Israelis will dedicate a solemn day to remembering those who’ve lost their lives since the country was reborn in 1948; Two sirens will sound throughout the country – one at 8:00 PM on Sunday evening and the other on Monday at 11:00 AM. We remember and mourn the loss of Israeli soldiers and victims of terror over the last 76 years. Given the evil atrocities of October 7, 2023, this day carries a lot more weight as the nation and so many families are now trying to recover, restore, and rebuild. W H A T ? ? - American hostages are in those terror tunnels and they are “offering information” in exchange for something ….?
Friends don’t extort friends. But that is exactly what the U.S. is doing to Israel.
President Joe Biden made a nice speech recently in which he promised that neither the Holocaust nor October 7 would ever be forgotten. But meanwhile, behind the scenes, he was twisting Israel’s arm to force a ceasefire with Hamas that would open the door for a future October 7 to take place. How is the arm twisting taking place? By withholding promised and much-needed munitions that are essential for Israel to prosecute the war. Just last night on CNN, Biden said, “If they go into Rafah, I’m not supplying the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah, to deal with the cities – that deal with that problem.” U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has affirmed the president’s action, saying that America has already suspended one shipment of weapons that most believe consists of 6500 advanced JDAM kits for accuracy of unguided bombs. U.S. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller announced on Wednesday that the administration is considering delaying other shipments, too. But don’t worry, they say, “Our long-term commitment to Israel has not changed.” So, what you’re saying, spokesman Miller, is that as long as we are faithful little obedient dogs, you’ll be nice. But if we ever disobey, then you’ll whap our snouts with a newspaper and throw us outside to the wolves.
1) Hamas is still not ready to reach an agreement on hostages without allowing for its total victory.
2) Saudi Arabia is increasing its demands for an agreement with Israel because it would rather wait for a Trump-brokered deal.
3) Both Republicans and Democrats blocked a Saudi/American agreement because Israel had been left out of it.
4) The terrorist president of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), Mahmoud Abbas, is not ready for any kind of reform and continues to provide blood money to the families of terrorists.
5) Palestinian leadership is a mess with Hamas ready to kill any of Abbas’s officials who might set foot in Gaza.
6) The U.S. humanitarian dock/pier under construction in Gaza is under threat and will eventually be bombed by Hamas.
7) Outside of Israel, the Houthis are running riot, U.S. troops are being kicked out of some African nations, U.S. policy is failing in Ukraine, and there is the lasting legacy of the horrendous debacle in Afghanistan.
This is why Biden is pushing so hard for this victory. He feels his reelection may depend on peace in Gaza and the development of a two-state solution, and he is willing to sacrifice Israel’s well-being to get it.
Despite the U.S. administration’s threats and protestations, the Rafah offensive has begun. There are two main foci for this operation: 1) Controlling the eastern region closest to Israel. 2) Controlling the Rafah crossing into Egypt which is the main oxygen of Hamas above the ground. After a massive undertaking to relocate civilians, during which more than 100,000 people were moved in one day, the Israel Air Force (IAF) began to soften up targets. Now, ground forces have moved into eastern Rafah.... Once the IDF has control of the Philadelphi corridor along the Egypt-Gaza border, they will begin the arduous work of uncovering the unimaginable web of tunnels under the ground.
....While Israel is going to have to deal with Hezbollah at some point, the questionable support from its allies will ensure that for now, at least, Netanyahu and the IDF will have to keep their primary focus on Hamas in Gaza in the south.
It was good to see a number of universities crack down on the students and outside agitators who took over their campuses last week. Many arrests were made, and it was particularly nice to witness the Dutch police take a bulldozer to the anti-Israel encampment at the University of Amsterdam. But the video that made my day was of a snowflake Princeton student bemoaning the fact that the university was not caring for their health during their hunger strike against the policies of that same university. Want to know how to get healthy? Eat something.Source: Biden’s Bomb ‘Pause’ Will Cause Israeli Soldiers to Die in Booby-trapped Buildings:

A report in the Washington Post: The Biden administration offers Israel high-quality intelligence, including the locations of senior Hamas officials in the Gaza Strip and the locations of terrorist tunnels that have not yet been revealed, in exchange for avoiding a large-scale operation in Rafah. US officials told Israel that evacuating the population from Rafah would require several months.

“There seem to be two Bidens,” wrote Abe Foxman, director emeritus of the Anti-Defamation League, the one who “spoke at the Holocaust event, who flew to Israel during war against Israel” and who supported Israel militarily and financially,” and the “political Biden, who engages in party politics—telling Israel it has [a] right to defend itself—but we will tell you when and how.”
The AP reported that the shipment consisted of 3,500 bombs weighing 2,000 and 500 pounds.
