Geri7- I will say a pray for God's comfort and encouragement and that He will refresh your soul and that His joy will be your strength...I guess maybe we could think of it as that in some ways we are all already spiritually in Heaven Colossians 3:1-4 because we are one in spirit with Holy Spirit 1 Corinth. 6:17... and there is no shame in wanting to be there physically as well, but you belong to Him and He is choosing to live His life in you and it is His choice to be doing that right now here on Earth at this exact time. So, even when it doesn't feel like it, He has a very great plan and purpose for you still being here that is actually what is best for you because it is what most glorifies Him right now and that's what we were all created for- to glorify Him! He is making you more like His Son...ask for His help to trust His ways and timing...He is with you always and that's all you really need...I'm sorry you are missing loved ones who've left this world already- I can imagine that it makes the desire for a soon rapture even that much more intense and as you said even gives you a willingness to leave before then... trust that what He says in His Word is true, that His ways are higher and better and for your good and His glory...He'll restore your joy in life in the here and now- I've been there feeling what's the point of being here, and having Him refresh my soul and return His joy to me which strengthened me to want to let Him keep on keeping on through me. You bring me happiness by reminding me that I have a beautiful spiritual family who truly knows and loves the Lord with all their heart as evidenced by your desires to let go of any and everything down here - to drop everything and run/fly to our Savior when we are called to- what a blessing to have this hope of being snatched away from evil and danger and held in His arms in TRUE peace and safety- we know it's not up to us to create a false peace and security here and instead long for His work to be completed and thankfully rest in the assurance that He is with us, in us, already and we are only here for as long as it is His will and we can surrender to Him being the one in control which brings such true peace inside of us so that we can continue here as long as needed... just feeling all ramble-y today....i really do appreciate being able to come on here and just be aware of others experiencing the same hopes of a soon rapture and learning together to just hold onto our God who loves us and trust Him wholeheartedly and focus on Him and get to know Him better now while still here - I think the more we do, the more we are going to experience such amazing joy, excitement & appreciation at our arrival to Heaven! I was an emotional wreck earlier this morning and was in serious need of Vitamin D so I purchased a bottle of Gummy D’s today and took a few. Its good for those who lack sunshine and for depression. It’s working ... I’m in a much better mood now than this morning. And my mailbox was empty today! Woohoo! However, while out at the stores I forgot to turn on the crock pot for the BBQ chicken drumsticks so this means ... dinner tonight isn’t until 8:00 p.m. (Trombone sound ... Wah Waaah) and I’m gambling that the uncooked chicken legs sitting in the crock pot are still ok .. but in case my dog and I end up with a severe case of salmonella poisoning and have to be admitted to the hospital ... you will know why (Trombone sound ...
