Even so Lord, you are at the very door!

When will You step over the threshold of time?!

When will we step into eternity?!

When shall we SEE Your face?!  And share an embrace?!

I wonder how that embrace is going to happen because there will be soooo many people … how long do we have to wait in line for our turn?  Or do we all embrace Him at once?  One mega hug fest?

Also at the wedding ceremony will we all be getting rings?  If so, I wonder if we can chose which stone or can we have a few choices like a stacked ring?

I used to have a ring like this with 6 stones … and you can keep changing the position of the gem stones … so cool.  But if we only get 1 choice of gem … then its amethyst all the way! :good:

Also who will do the ceremony … God the Father or will Jesus officiate it?  Also do we all say “I do” all together or have to wait for everyone to say the words?  Or is the Jewish wedding ceremony totally different … and we will be breaking wine glasses, etc. ?

Do you know what this verse pertains to?

Matthew 20:16

So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

Is it the last person who gets saved has the honors of sitting next to Jesus at the marriage table?  Or will we all be taking turns?  What will you do if you were sitting in that prized spot?  Would you be able to even eat?  I think I would be in such awe … I don’t think I could eat or drink.

And will we be falling backwards like the Roman soldiers  did when Jesus spoke … especially if He says … I AM … or is falling backwards only the reaction for the unsaved?

John 18:6
As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

Exodus 3:14
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Also will it take some time to get used to NOT calling our parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc by their earthly titles anymore but by their name or addressing them as brother or sister?   And to think … we will all be the same age …

I long to see the great white throne with the emerald bow and Gods glory shining from it per Rev 4:3 “And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald.”

I can almost see it, but dimly now in my veiled eyes! Soon, face to face .... :prayer-hands: :yahoo:

I think the first shall be last, and the last first refers not to the timing of our salvation, but instead to our social standing.  All the elites, the movie stars, the politicians, the sportspeople who are so revered on this earth and who are first here, in heaven, they will be last.  No one will admire them for their previous fame.  Instead, the Kingdom of God is made up of those with child-like hearts who humbly have served Christ.  Those saints are the ones who will be first.

Again, years ago while seeking the Lord praying and sitting quietly before Him, my friend had a vision of a huge emerald being shaped.
The Lord told him I was the emerald!

But we will marvel at the few who actually made it! 😉

Again, Look Up!

For our redemption surely draweth nigh!  Even at the very doors!

Truly this acknowledgement alone should fill each of us with joy immeasurable!

As we continue to find that day merely speaks to how anxious we are to be with the lover of our souls!

And it is with a growing sense of confidence we speak of His soon appearing!
