I think the first shall be last, and the last first refers not to the timing of our salvation, but instead to our social standing. All the elites, the movie stars, the politicians, the sportspeople who are so revered on this earth and who are first here, in heaven, they will be last. No one will admire them for their previous fame. Instead, the Kingdom of God is made up of those with child-like hearts who humbly have served Christ. Those saints are the ones who will be first. Again, years ago while seeking the Lord praying and sitting quietly before Him, my friend had a vision of a huge emerald being shaped. No one will admire them for their previous fame. But we will marvel at the few who actually made it! 😉 Again, Look Up! For our redemption surely draweth nigh! Even at the very doors! Truly this acknowledgement alone should fill each of us with joy immeasurable! As we continue to find that day merely speaks to how anxious we are to be with the lover of our souls!
