TR well said. I am reminded of the verse 1 Corinthians 2:9 “But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”

Given our finite brain, I truly don’t think we have the ability to grasp the awesome concept of God’s glorious kingdom and what He has prepared for us. His love is unfathomable by human hearts. The depth and breath of God is unimaginable in His majesty, glory, power, and love.

I can sometimes feel like my soul just wants to leap out of this earthly, corruptible form to be with the Savior who gave from that God head, in love and bought us back with His Devine blood. :prayer-hands:

Blessings Sis!  Indeed again, man has neither the quality nor quantity of words to describe God's glory!

We know in part and see in part.  Our vision and understanding is veiled!  Simply put, mortality cannot comprehend immortality.  Never having partaken of any of Heaven's glories who can really imagine them?!  There is a vast chasm between intellectual knowledge and experience!

Someone once used the analogy of an orange.  Going to great lengths to verbalize all it's various attributes and pleasures of the fruit eaten.  But until it is personally experienced it is an exercise in  the unknown!

Our motivations describing our love of God and of Heaven are individually varied, and each extremely valid.  As has been pointed out, emotions are neither quantified as right or wrong but simply as personal and real!

Whereas the love of Christ is indeed paramount and pivotal for entrance into His home, Heaven!

It is spoken of St. Thomas Aquinas that he was a prolific writer and teacher.  His intellectual ascent and the use of his pen was prolific!

He then had a Rhema experience with the risen Lord, after which his pen was all but silenced. Or so the story goes.

It’s hard to imagine our eternal heavenly residence because what we see as beautiful down here, on this sin cursed earth, is really nothing more than a garbage pit compared to our eternal home!  Just the thought of walking on golden streets is going to be amazing!  :yahoo:

I did a paper on Thomas Aquinas in my undergrad sociology class, very interesting man and a witness was presented through that paper. Both. him and Sir Issac Newton were used by God in their time, yet humanism has changed the perception of them enough to distort the current generations and keeping them from the truth! So sad 🙁

The Rapture will indeed be the portal that introduces many of us simultaneously to eternity!

The first coming of Christ was the greatest gift the Father ever gave mankind!  Gifting us with spiritual life and the clearing of our sin debt against God.

Second only to that IMHO is the Rapture!  The Rapture also simultaneously allows us to shed our mortality and clothes us with immortality!

The second coming of Christ completes the trifecta of God's grace towards us  .  For within this final act of God's grace, our enemies and His enemies are finally confronted with their sins!  The Lord tears apart the curtain which veiled the sins of mankind! And both Israel and the Church are then united intimately with God!

Lastly, rewards for the righteous and judgment for those that loved unrighteousness!  Ironically, eternity is then entwined with both.  Creating two states of being.  Eternal fellowship with our Creator God, or eternal separation from God!

In the end, eternity will tell the tale....forever!
