@perhapstoday Coffee and I have had a serious relationship since grade school. Grandma got me started early.

Holy Toledo … since grade school?  Your Grandma should have been offering you hot chocolate with marshmallows at that age.  I know Santa couldn’t have been happy … so it’s confession time … was it YOUR Grandma that got run over by a reindeer? Cool

@geri9 I even had my own coffee cup with a ceramic frog in the bottom! She was just a sweet farm lady who wore house dresses, flowery aprons, had her hair braided in a bun, and loved the Lord. Very old fashioned. Coffee is much better for you than Coke.

She would give us hot tea too, which was OK, but coffee is much better of course.

Aw … your Grandma sounds so sweet.

Yep, frogs were very popular in childhood.  I made a latch-hook frog pillow case. Then when doing ceramics … it was frogs to paint.  Perhaps frogs were in from the “Jeremiah was a bullfrog” “Joy to the World” hit song?

I actually prefer cherry Pepsi better over cherry Coke.

And I will admit not all teas taste good.  The best tea that outshines them all is …Wild Blueberry Açaí tea … it’s heavenly.

@geri9 I like tea. I was just trying to get you going. Although coffee is better. And Grandma and Grandpa did have a large sleigh in the barn that they pulled through the fields in winter. It had sleigh bells attached.

@erby Same here. I can remember being very young, possible 3 yrs old and my grandfather drinking coffee with me. What a wonderful memory.

I wish I could enjoy a cup of coffee but I can't get my mind of the repulsive looking rat's foot in the dish.

I won't be able to drink anything, just as I could hardly have lunch after seeing that photo

@heidi Sorry.  I looked again and I don't recognize a foot.

@yohanan In Joseph's post where someone found a rat's foot in their food. the photo was there, going back it seems like it has been removed. I found it very disgusting, been having problems having anything to eat all day.

@heidi   Never mind, I see.  It's not the coffee photo, it's the one above it.  That one is yuk!

@erby sorry about that, been struggling to eat all day. Once you see something like this, it's hard to get it off your mind. it will take a while.

hope you don't think about it anymore and enjoy the rest of your day! (and your meals)
