Ilhan Omar Wasn’t Sure What Name to Put on 2009 Marriage Application with Brother-Husband:

Ilhan Nur Said Elmi aka Ilhan Omar’s marriage application shows that she apparently wasn’t sure whether she should use her real name or fake name when filling out the application with her brother, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, in 2009. 

The Department of Justice identified Omar as “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar” in a recent court filing, revealing her real name for the first time.

It was later revealed by sources familiar with the investigation that “Ilhan Omar” is a fake alias used by Ilhan Nur Said Elmi to obtain citizenship in the year 2000, live in the country illegally, and run for office.

A former Minnesota federal immigration judge has said this could “call into question” every document she’s ever filled out with her fake name, Ilhan Omar.

Now, it’s being revealed that Omar struggled with whether she would take her the same name as her brother after the marriage, crossing out her name twice in the section labeled “COMPLETE NAMES OF PARTIES AFTER MARRIAGE.”

As seen on the 2009 marriage application obtained by the New York Post from Hennepin County, Minnesota, Omar appeared to write her last name first as “Omar.” She then crossed it out and wrote “Elmi.”

Both of them also declare on the form that they are not related to each other by blood or adoption.

Fired Pentagon general admitted leaking classified information on Iran:

Army Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia admitted to leaking classified information concerning Iran and Ukraine to two journalists over a one-year period beginning in June 2025, according to an internal investigation that led to his removal as the Pentagon’s top military planner.

Sylvia, who served as director of Strategy, Plans, and Policy on the Joint Staff, known as the J5, acknowledged the disclosures on video, Axios reported.

A U.S. official also confirmed that Sylvia confessed to the misconduct after failing four separate polygraph tests during the investigation.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth fired Sylvia from the J5 position, which helps advise Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine.
