I can't help but to remember that any time I tried to figured out what God's next move in my life would be, I was unable to figure it out ahead of time. It was pretty much always something I hadn't considered. It just might be so with the timing of our exit.

Another thing we don't hear very often is that we who are watching will know, we will not be left in the dark and be surprised by the rapture. I have often wondered about how the watchers will know. Somehow, it doesn't make sense that this knowledge would be given to only one or two believers through dreams, visions, math, astronomy, etc. to then be shared to the rest of tthe watching community.  I am leaning toward a collective knowing, given by the Holy Spirit to all who are watching. We already see a knowing of the season of the rapture in the watching community. I suppose our collective knowing will become more precise as the day approaches. Simeon and Anna knew that the time of Jesus' first coming was very near- Simeon was waiting in the temple for Him and Anna, a prophetess, recognized Him as the Messiah right away. Maybe that is what it will be like for us- while we are waiting and watching, the Holy Spirit will prompt us to know the time.

I believe an unarguable knowledge will be deposited into our spirits by God himself!

What I refer to as a high sign! Whether 3 days or 3 hrs!

Again scriptural circumstantial evidence points to this!  Not being taken unawares again speaks of a certain knowledge at play!

I have had this belief in my spirit for over 30yrs!

A quickening of spirit as like at Christ’s first coming, starting with the wisemen!

Again, also instructed to listen to what the Spirit speaks to the church! Not just what we can figure out!

Again, whether it happens or not, simple exegesis and cursory study of God' word speaks of God's heart, nature and past works of "disclosure"!

Yet this simple premise has not warranted one iota of searching and discussion, while every dream and vision garners so much unwarranted attention!  WHY!

Starting at the beginning, the one commandment given Adam and Eve discloses consequences!

The whole word of God follows suit in kind!

This is nothing I am pulling out of my back pocket people!

I don’t pay much heed to dreams and visions. I have heard and read of far too many that never came to pass. I guess when that ended for me was when Dr. Richard Eby, author of the book “Caught Up Into Paradise”, made the statement that God had given him a vision that he would live to see the rapture. I was quite fascinated with his book so I thought this vision was awesome! How many more years could Dr. Eby possibly live? He was already old by the time of his vision. Well, Dr Eby had his own personal rapture in 2002 and we’re still here some twenty years later. So that experience pretty much soured me on peoples visions and dreams. Oh, I enjoy reading about some of them but I put stock in none of them.

But getting to your point, TR, the reason I have never given much thought to an advance warning is because I don’t know why I want or need it. I’m happy with it just happeni...................?

I believe that if we are given and advanced warning then the Holy Spirit would utilize us all in a mysterious way to make that final outreach that we’d never successfully do under our own strength. He would orchestrate our moves and words kind of like when you are talking to someone and you just KNOW that the words coming our of your mouth are not your own and you just KNOW that it’s the Holy Spirit working through you because you KNOW you’d never say what you are currently saying. And you marvel at how amazing and how humbling it is to be used by Him. That’s how I think it will go if we are given an advanced indication that the rapture is about to happen.

If, if it be on the horizon, it would certainly be an added gift from God!

Again, seemingly with every doctrine or theory expoused capturing the attention around the world, I just find it odd.

I appreciate your honest answer brother and respect it!  I am still befuddled though at the lack of interest in exploring God's character to the fullest!

Oh well, c'est la vie!

Well let’s talk about this more. Give me more detail to what you are thinking. I am always interested in talking about God and would like to know more about what’s on your heart. This has been something you’ve mentioned several times before but let’s go deeper. I may be missing the point of the matter.

I appreciate your openness Johanan , but I don’t want to beat a dead horse!

As you say, on at least 3 times over these years I have broached this topic to simply run it up the flag pole!

Simply suggesting that the Lord’s heart could easily accommodate such a gift for His beloved!

Again, given the variety of topics both mundane and including every aspect of the prophetic realm often discussed ad Infinitum, this topic has never been given any serious consideration!

Even though I personally find it a comforting  possibility as a further and personal expression of God’s love!!!

It gives me pause to think I have but two options!

Firstly, that this premise is so lame as to not even warrant consideration!

Secondly, what a glorious manifestation of God’s love we could be overlooking!

Either way, I am left unfulfilled!

I have refrained from formulating and presenting any teaching as mine as I seek neither glory or the attention!

My approach has been simply to consider the possibility!  Hoping it would be a blessing through our anxious days!
