A couple weeks ago, MFATW said that this summer the govt. expects the sun to be so hot that it will melt roads and roofs. Indeed, blotting out the Son! TR Maybe trying to blot out the Son, but no one could really do that! Crops need sun to grow. Can you say famine and food shortages? Ugh! I expect a cool, rainy summer. The sun's activity is at a minimum. It encourages cloud formation. Of course, there are regional variations but overall, I think it'll be cooler with the minimal sunspot activity. The Simpsons had an episode where Mr. Burns tried to block out the sun. Perhaps a bit of predictive programming there. Anyway, this wickedness will lead to famine mass starvation.
