What an excellent thread, LEW. May God bless you for being a willing servant. Please for a man I met last Shabbat/Saturday. His name is Bill. Bill is a brilliant man who is extremely talented. He is a member of Mensa and is a skilled handyman, artist and craftman. He also has a drinking problem, sadly. Bill has heard the gospel many times but refuses to believe. He says, ultimately the only one you can believe in and rely upon is yourself. I believe he has been let down by people time and time again. Still, he keeps coming around to visit my Christian friend. I believe the Holy Spirit is drawing him. Please pray that the seeds that have been planted will germinate and bear fruit. We need to pray for Katy Perry. I have seen a change in her since she had her baby. I noticed on the show this spring she has mentioned God a lot. Babies are little miracles that God uses to change you! About Katy Perry: I found this online: "No, Katy Perry is not a Christian. She was brought up in a strict Christian household. However, she abandoned her faith when she started working on pop music." But I see her on American Idol, and she often speaks about church, Holy Ghost goosebumps, etc. So, please don't give up on her. So many people I need prayer for! Especially my husband, our children, their families, and the grandkids. There are friends of mine who follow false religions or are atheists. I honestly pray for them and everybody in the world, especially in closed countries, that they would somehow hear the gospel and respond by giving their lives to Christ.
