I respectfully disagree. I lived in California for 10 years and know a lot of Christians there. Jack Hibbs, Greg Laurie, and several others have very large churches in s. Cal. Granted, Cali has more than her share of nut jobs and a government run by crooks but there are many, many Christians there, too. Driving through the central valley up the 5 once you leave the Grape Vine and you would think you where in the heart of the bible belt by all the billboards. North of Sacramento is conservative and has a large Christian population as well. As a side bar, a friend of mine invited me to attend his church one Sunday morning. When I arrived I thought I was in the wrong place. There were motorcycles everywhere and everyone looked like Hell's Angels. Turns out many used to be just that. But they were changed by the power of God and I have yet to meet anyone with a matched fervency for the Lord as I found with them. The church is called New Wine and is in Fullerton. Homayoun Zhaveh and his wife Sara Ahmadi were ordered on March 19th, 2021 to report to Evin Prison, Tehran, to begin a two and eight-year sentence respectively for their house church activity. Homayoun suffers from Parkinson’s disease and there is significant concern regarding how he will stand up to the rigors of prison life. Please pray for Homayoun and Sara! This is what's coming to America for Christians! We lift this couple to you Lord! Not knowing your will for them, I pray you stand by their side!
