Don't get me wrong.  I am very grateful, very grateful, that Donald Trump is our President when considering the alternative of Hillary Clinton.  God only knows where our country would be at this point had she been elected or stolen the election.  That said, I am sitting here with the TV on  listening to Donald Trump address a crowd in Ohio as he continues to run campaign rallies across the country.  He just uttered something to the effect that America has never been stronger, and my spirit shuttered inside.  The truth is, from a spiritual perspective, I'm not sure America has ever been weaker, more rebellious, and more deserving of God's righteous judgment.  Yet, because the economy seems to be doing pretty well at the moment and unemployment is down (both of which are good things), people are deluded into thinking everything is fine.  It is not folks.  And I suspect most who spend time on this site understand that reality.  We are 22 trillion (with a T) in debt as a nation.  Debt is the sign of God's spiritual curse, not His blessing.  And this house of cards could collapse in a moment once the Restrainer is removed.  I long to be done with this world and safely hidden away at Abba's house with our Savior.  Forgive us, O Lord, for we have forgotten You and gone after other gods that fail to deliver on their promise to satisfy our hungry souls.  In wrath, Lord God, remember mercy.  Maranatha!!!

Well said.  Indeed money can't save this nation or any nation.  Truly for those that have eyes to see and the lips to speak the truth, we are in sad shape.  Our sins have already judged and convicted us!  We are simply awaiting the Lord's sentencing.

What the Lord calls strength and honor is sorely lacking today more than ever.  All of our hearts ache for our nation and it's sins.  Let us not get confused or deceived!  We can't spend too much time throwing our own pity party,  it's time for truth!

Jesus is coming to judge the quick and the dead!  For those alive the  sentence is the wrath of God.  Time is nearly behind us.  God's heart is still for reconciliation and redemption.  Today is the day for salvation!  Today is the day to make a decision.   The choice to receive Christ or reject Christ comes before all men!

Time will not allow this choice to be forestalled or put off any longer!  This is the truth that we need to speak, for such time as this!

The country has declined as the leadership has declined. If we had about 16 more years with Trump (or similar leadership) in office we might begin to back paddle out of the mess we are in. Hopefully that won't happen though - 'cause we'll be GONE!! :yahoo:     :yahoo:

Just a note about the state of the country - I just saw an article talking about the way people are treating the police. That is a very true example of where the country is at. Respect is at an all time low. I'm sure there were instances of that kind of behavior before but the recent outbreak of such disrespect is a perfect reflection of Obama's legacy.

Stronger than it's ever been?  Surely it is not!  That only works if you limit American history to the past decade or so, and then only from an economic perspective.  That statement should be followed by one of those rapidly spoke disclaimers you get at the end of radio spots for legal purposes, saying that this product does not cure warts, bad breath, ingrown toenails, dandruff, (insert about 50 other unpleasant things, all spoken like an auctioneer).  But yes, compared to what we had before, it's a little better.

In a word, lawlessness.
